I just have to say something.. I was born and raised in Manila but left decades ago, anyway you Paddy and all of your viewers, for some reasons, are some of the most down to earth, realistic, adventurous, fearless, 🎉respectful human beings . Regardless of how difficult and frustrating some situations are , you stay realistic and are never condescending . I have not seen or heard a sense of entitlement from you and your viewers as well, which quite honestly is something I rarely see nowadays from where I live. I’m finally seeing and reading real human emotions devoid of pretentions. Keep it coming Paddy, thank you, and I’m subscribing now.
Palawan is another great place to visit but the most inspiring places I visited were on two tours in Manila. If you can, visit the dump where the ships empty their trash and the people from children to grandparents that live there go through and separate items to sale. Another is the cemetery tour where thousands live. At both of these places you will meet the nicest people, teach the world what poverty really is, and get a new perspective of our small planet.
Philippines 🇵🇭 is so beautiful i have never really wanted to go but after watching your series so far I’m going to go . Thanks Paddy for the adventures.

Respect, Paddy. I appreciate your explanation and position regarding the whale shark swim. I also respect your approach to obstacles, which you use as opportunities to find alternate routes and adventures. Keep up the good work!
You should take note that Kawasan isn't the only waterfalls in Cebu but there are hundreds more. Yes, Cebu is home to 110 waterfalls systems totalling to almost a thousand individual falls and cascades with the similar clear and clean turquoise blue water. All these waterfalls are unique in their own right and no two falls are similar. The only things these waterfalls have in common are their vivid turquoise blue water, the multiple levels they have, the multiple deep pools for swimming and the amazing lush greenery surrounding them. For starter, based on ease of accessibility, try Aguinid Falls, Inambakan Falls, Binalayan Hidden Falls, Dau Falls, Kabutongan Falls, Montpelier Falls and Mantayupan Falls. You will surely get awed by these beautiful and gorgeous waterfalls. Kawasan Falls, as of the moment, is only accessible if you join a canyoneering activity.
This episode is absolutely everything.. Green scenery, the romance of solo spontaneous travel. And good on you on the decision not to do the whale shark thing. I met a lady from Cebu working in Cyprus earlier on this trip by judging by your adventure it's much of what she described from her youth there. Also the music!
Try to get over to Camiguin Island off the big island of Mindanao in the South , one of Philippines ' tiniest islands but the most volcanic island in the entire planet with over seven active volcanoes. Labeled as the Tahiti of the Philippines, small (easily loop round in motorbike in one hour) but with loads of natural wonders ( hot and cold springs, a most unique Soda spring and yes, the water do really taste like sparkling soda!, waterfalls, volcano hikes, a sunken cemetery from turn of the century eruption, a spectacular white sandbar in the middle of the ocean, home to giant clams, very local and non-heavy tourist footprint, etc. Easy and quick travel to the island by flight from Cebu, Manila and direct ferry services from Bohol and many points. Great island to get away to and greatly local with first class accommodations.
Paddy brother! You bring me so much joy. Your production is an absolute perfect experience. Not a moment I haven't loved. Excellent work brother. Paddy Paddy Paddy Paddy!
Oh Paddy🤦🏾♂️ that “window” is to be draped over the headlight. When in doubt… do as the locals do 😆 Love following your adventures. The music was hilarious but so in tune with the county’s culture. You make me laugh. The editing for this video is on point! Thank you so much for all your effort.
Good on ya Paddy. The Whale Sharks are magnificent creatures. We swam with them at the Donsol interaction center. Their natural migration path. Looking forward to more of your travels in the Philippines. It's always interesting with you.
Well done Paddy, i totally agree with you about the whale shark's, You gave us a great view from the mountains instead, which we don't see very often from others thanks and keep those videos coming. Take care
Certainly, there is more to Cebu than Kawasan and Oslob. Don't you know, that Cebu is originally famous for white sand beaches, island hopping, snorkeling and scuba diving back in 1970s until 1980s? That's the reason why there are lots of luxurious beach resorts all over Cebu. Both Kawasan Falls and Oslob whale sharks are just recent attractions to foreigners. Kawasan Falls in early 2000s and Oslob whale sharks in 2012. But local tourists from Cebu have long been frequent visitors to these attractions even before mass tourism started in early 1990s.
100% Agree with your decision about not promoting Oslob. The ethics of feeding whale sharks are questionable to say the least, but the Oslob experience will certainly feel like your in an overcrowded Zoo. Far better to experience them in the wild.
Paddy's ! Looks like you got your "10,000 steps" in on this video ! The whale shark thing is just another extension of what was once a good thing, being " loved to death". Same/ same. Safe travels ! 🤞👍🙏
Woww- You’ve come a long way Mr Doyle!!! This video is totally “Next Level “ Your intro is mega awesome and completely professional!!! My husband & I have been following ever since shelter-in-place & this video is amazing!!! We’ve never been to Cebu and/or Boracay & this is now on our bucket list! Thanks for sharing this awesome video 😊
Glad you back on the road again Paddy. I enjoy your videos and being able to travel virtually because of them. Also look forward to all you have to show us of the Philippines. Luv luv all of it always
Cebu has always been the 'poster boy' of Philippine tourism long before Boracay, Palawan and Bohol became popular in middle of 1990s. Cebu, in fact, was the default destination for white sand beach, scuba diving and snorkeling activities in the Philippines in the 70s, 80s with Mactan and Moalboal leading Cebu's must-go-to places. Until now, Cebu still attracts more foreign tourists than any single destination in the country. Germans, Japanese and Americans used to be the largest foreign tourists in Cebu between 1970s until 1990s. Koreans started to overtake all three groups in early 2000s and in 2019, just before the pandemic came, Chinese tourists were poised to overtake Koreans as the largest group of foreign visitors to Cebu when their number narrowly edged out by Koreans by triple digits, at around 800,000 to Korean's 1.2 million. British tourists have never been a big fan of the Philippines ever since so they're mostly ignorant about the Philippines. So they're surprised by Moalboal's large expat population.
Ang Cebu parang metro manila, daming mga basura at litters sa kalye, bangketa, pati sa beach, dagat, gubat at mga bundok daming mga litters...no wonder kaya kokonti lang ang mga foreign tourists...
Just found out your channel, sir 😊. Thanks for the effort and hardwork just to share with us your adventure in the PH❤. We appreciate you so much. God bless you! Cheers for more adventures 🥂❤️
I love that feeling of getting on the road also... I road a harley To Yellowstone Grand Canyon Bear Tooth highway with no planned destination. The best was when I ended up in the Zion Canyon by accident.Beautiful ride. USA I am from Canada 🇨🇦 I can't wait to do The Paddy Doyle travels...
@@kollennekoll5997 Aquariums are even worse yes. But commodifying animals in the wild is just as bad. Using the argument of "they can come and go as they please" is pretty weak. These are not human's with free will.
Hello Bro Paddy !🤗🙂❤️ I enjoy watching your videos . And nice to hear your songs. You sound like Paul McCartney !!🙂💞🙂 Keep making good videos take care and God bless you always! 🙂💞🤗❤️
I swear I just come watch your videos now to see you sing it’s great and hilarious!! You said you were going to do new things and I haven’t seen anyone doing this!!
I enjoyed watching your vlog ....you added a new flavor to a travel vlog by singing !! its like listening to a NEW WAVE music vibe . Thanks for embracing Filipino culture!💕💕😊😊👋👋🙏🙏!
Fully agree about the whale sharks at Oslob - looks really stressful for them! I'm planning my own Philippines trip atm and I'm looking in to staying in Sogod Bay (Leyte) which has some stunning dive sites and is also somewhere whale sharks come on their migration route october-may. Obviously seeing them passing through isn't guaranteed the way it is when they are being fed but I'd much prefer to see them living their natural lives
Awesome video Paddy. Brings back good memories of our time in Moalboal. Will and Jose must love us more. They gave us the right directions to Osmena Peak 🤭
The window on the raincoat is for the motorcycle light. It's supposed to go over the front of the motorcycle. The motorcycle handles goes into the raincoat holes.
Agree with you on Cebu City, I didn't think much of it although my wife is Cebuana 🤫 It does have an interesting history though, including Mactan where the great Lapu Lapu knocked off Magellan, and I believe at one point Cebu was considered as a potential capital of the Philippines. Thanks for the vid, I really need to explore that island more someday!
Because it's still dirty and underdeveloped. Not for long if you're paying attention to what's going on there. It's the most well rounded Island in the country.
Enjoying the series.great content as usual .we hope to head to the Philippines in December so it’s certainly giving us a upto date insight…..keep up the good work
Paddy First, as for your on the road song, no, just no, but i do appreciate the enthusiasm. I love the sardine swim. I am planning on going in October. I like how you turned a bad day into a good day. That peak was epic. Kawasan Falls was not meant to be. Last, I agree with you about the whale sharks, not something i would want to see either.
I really love Cebu. There’s a lot of beautiful places or towns to visit in Cebu other than Cebu City and Lapu Lapu City. Greetings from Pangasinan, where you can find the Hundred Islands.🤍
I liked all your vlogs earlier more 😊 Please do what you did always …explore and not make another influencer PH video…too many man. No singing and promo please 🙏 😂 I know it’s too late as you are out of Cebu island for sure - you should have visited one of the smaller islands like Malapasqua in the north of cebu which was a 💎 in 2006 when I was there …same as Boracay back then Anyway have fun and explore something new for us 👌🍀😎
Man let him try and do whatever he wants to do. I wasn’t a huge fan of his new videos with the singing at first but it’s growing on me and he has balls to do it nobody else has tried it.
Hiya Paddy. Still can't get over how epic the intro is for this series. Smashed it again. The window. Haha. Oh, you are a legend. You make me smile so much. Love it. Don't want to say too much. As I think I give things away. You got this on lock. Fantastic footage. Gorgeous drone footage. Perfect tunes. The Philippines is one of the most beautiful places to scuba or snorkel. Epic footage. Gave me goosebumps. Wonderful experience. Everything you saw. Wow. Envious. Magical. For your own safety with the waterfall. Seen bad things when the water levels are high. Will and Jose. Love them. Glad you turned back. Filipinos are lovely. Lovely hikes. Beautiful video. Amazing views. Amazing drone footage. Respect for all the work put in for all the shots. Some of those ledges were scary. Things happen for a reason. Loved this journey. I think you did right not to promote it, Loved this. I did not want it to end. Constantly hanging for the next episode. Epic video. Can not wait for the next one. Thank you. Have a wonderful week.

Nothing unethical about whale sharks activity in Oslob as the sharks are not cordoned, herded, shepherded, or restricted in their movement. They're still in their natural wild habitat. Oslob is their feeding grounds because it is also the breeding and spawning grounds for krills, the tiny crustaceans that form their main diet. In fact, it is well-organized and fully regulated, supervised by DENR, local university Marine Biology department, WWF and few other NGOs who are stationed on site everyday. Through this activity, more and more people have come to learn more about whale sharks and their conservation. While whales sharks are hunted in other parts of the world, here in Cebu, they're well protected and conserved.
@@Aqualastic Correct. Most of those who are opposed to it are actually ignoramus to the highest degree based on their reasons. Some even said that the whale shark activities in Oslob caused some fins and tails of the sharks missing due to the propeller of the boat. What propeller are they talking about when all boats used are all paddle boats ever since the activity started in 2012. They don't even know that a representative from WWF and DENR and the conservation group from local university's Marine Biology Department are stationed on site every single day.
Hi Paddy! Its great that you sing... and sing really well, eh!! I like your carefree attitude despite your solo adventure... you really seem to be enjoying your trip... We'll be with you!! Go! Go!
I'm so right subscribing on your channel. No sugar coating, it is what it is content with total respect. Rain or getting lost, the positivity vibes is there. You always made my day🌞. The courage, determination and moral thoughts are so inspiring. Hat's off to you mate and please, please keep the jams rolling it's one of the best part of the vlog. Watching from San Francisco CA 🇺🇲. Keep making a difference mate 🫶🇵🇭.
Yes, Osmeña Peak. The deformed cousin of Bohol's Chocolate Hills. Kidding. Just read that somewhere so no hate please😆. It's actually as pretty as Chocolate Hills i think. I totally agree with you on the Oslob whalesharks. Been telling the same thing to some of the vloggers. Not against whaleshark tourism, but it should be heavily regulated for the sake of these gentle giants. Anyway, i miss Will and Jose's PH vlogs. Hope to see them back again soon. ❤
Those peaks of Badian Mountains (where Osmena Peak belongs) are an indication that Cebu existed millions of years before other islands in the Philippines, including Luzon and Mindanao were formed. Cebu is completely a coralline island, or low island. Low island is an island of coral origin, where its rocks are primarily made up of organic materials such as limestone that formed after millions of years of natural processes. The rocky peaks of Badian Highlands are samples of limestone rocks as a result of natural erosion from both air, wind and water movement. Only in Cebu where you can find these natural limestone formations. Other prominent indications as to Cebu's age is the presence of the huge deposits of dolomite, natural gas and carbon mineral. Cebu is home to the largest carbon and dolomite deposits in the whole Philippines. Just ten years ago, an oil deposit was discovered with commercial value in Alegria, an adjacent town of Badian. The oil field in Alegria has just been recently tapped for commercial extraction this year.
Lol Cebu is one of the Philippines' youngest islands, karst landscapes exist in Luzon and Mindanao. If island age is what we're talking about then nothing is older than Mindoro and Palawan, both continental fragments broken off from the rest of Asia. The largest coal desposit in the Philippines is offshore Mindoro in the Semiraras, for natural gas that would be offshore Palawan, and coal and natural gas deposits are larger in Mindanao than Cebu
@@arvina94 Totally false! The presence of huge deposits of carbon, natural gas and dolomites are clear and obvious indication that Cebu is at least 45 million years old. Don't you know that Cebu is the only known place in the Philippines to have huge deposits of carbon and dolomite minerals? Don't you know that dolomite minerals started to form only about 45 million years ago? Don't you know also that carbon, dolomite and natural gas are all organic materials, coming from living organism (e.g. coral ployps, dead animals, plants, trees, etc.) which have died millions of years prior to their formation? Cebu used to export carbon minerals to USA during the early American occupation until WW II broke out. In fact, Cebu's largest public market, the century-old Carbon Public Market is named after its role as being the transshipment hub for carbon minerals for export? Don't you know that a natural gas field is now under development in Alegria, a southwestern town next to Badian, whose commercial operation is expected to start very soon.
@@arvina94 There may be limestone karsts in Luzon but that doesn't mean it is older than Cebu. The volume or amount of limestone or dolomite deposits indicate the age of an island. And Cebu has the largest dolomite deposit in Asia and it is proven already as only in Cebu where dolomite is mined and nowhere else. The presence of turquoise blue waters all over Cebu, be it from the waterfalls, springs, lakes (natural or artificial), streams, coastal areas, is another indication of the abundance of calcium carbonate in Cebu's rocks. About 99% of all Cebu's natural water forms such as waterfalls, springs, streams, lakes, coasts are turquoise blue.
Respect. The canyoneering thing isn’t closed though. You went straight to Kawasan Falls which is indefinitely closed. You need to find the the folks offering canyoneering tours. They’re good people.
17:19 glad to see you figured out the purpose of the rain poncho’s clear window. Also, if you plan to do a whale shark tour in the Philippines, the one in Donsol, Sorsogon is much more ethical. The number of tourists and interactions per day are strictly regulated, the sharks are not fed, and the guides are stricter with the distance protocols.
The closed path shown in the video, was the old entrance to kawasan falls, before it was destroyed by the storm, you can go to the kawasan through canyoneering, you might not have gone into the canyoneering station.

Damn it feels so good to be back on the road
Been way too long since I've been back on the road
I've missed the wind in my hair
I've missed the roar of my engine

I just wanna drive anywhere
The open road is my home
And there is nothing I'd trade it for
Back on the open road

Wow, thank you!
Thanks 👍
Good on ya Paddy. The Whale Sharks are magnificent creatures. We swam with them at the Donsol interaction center. Their natural migration path. Looking forward to more of your travels in the Philippines. It's always interesting with you.
Paddy is just a freakin' idiot...he thinks he knows about Philippines. PATHETIC,IGNARONT FOOL.
Well done Paddy, i totally agree with you about the whale shark's,
You gave us a great view from the mountains instead, which we don't see very often from others thanks and keep those videos coming. Take care
Your motorbike journeys are proper next level, love watching them!
I have watched most of videos and love them, but the singing is a major fast forward desired button!
Paddy's ! Looks like you got your "10,000 steps" in on this video ! The whale shark thing is just another extension of what was once a good thing, being " loved to death". Same/ same. Safe travels ! 🤞👍🙏
I really enjoy your videos, but for the first time after your singing debut that you started in your current series I had to fast forward. Sorry
So did i shocking
Woww- You’ve come a long way Mr Doyle!!! This video is totally “Next Level “ Your intro is mega awesome and completely professional!!! My husband & I have been following ever since shelter-in-place & this video is amazing!!! We’ve never been to Cebu and/or Boracay & this is now on our bucket list! Thanks for sharing this awesome video 😊
Cool underwater footage Patty! Top of the world feeling at the top of those strange mountains.
Cool

Mad respect for you for not promoting the whaleshark abuse Paddy!🐳🐋
Abuse? In the west they're in an aquarium but these sharks are in the ocean they can come and go as they please and get a free snack!
@@kollennekoll5997 Aquariums are even worse yes. But commodifying animals in the wild is just as bad. Using the argument of "they can come and go as they please" is pretty weak. These are not human's with free will.
What about exploiting the sardines as well. Please don’t discriminate.
@@alistairtaylor4989 I said "commodifying animals in the wild is bad" that includes sardines. Sardines are animals, maybe you didn't know.

Good to see you enjoying Cebu as much as i do in my own hometown 😉 from pure Cebuana ❤
I am sooo entertained by your singing, man! well done! Cheers!
Totally agree.the stress will kill them.and stop feeding the fish bread that will kill them as well.what is wrong with these people😶
Yaaahhh the killer whale in florida also...set them free...
Yes they are migratory. I saw a vlog at lombok. By Adam Radcliffe. And in thailand too and other places like tenggol island.
@steve Bignell the locals will tell you, with no tourism, they will hunt them down.
Be sure not to attempt swimming with the whale sharks 😢
I love that 80's vibes intro and music! ❤️
Awesome video Paddy. Brings back good memories of our time in Moalboal. Will and Jose must love us more. They gave us the right directions to Osmena Peak 🤭

Is it true there are trash issue around there?
Because it's still dirty and underdeveloped.

What an edit man. Great job!!
It's good that you've laid down the facts, some people are totally ignorant about it.
When I was in Cebu it was a shit-hole and by the looking at your video it still is 😂

Osmena peak is stage 2 of the evolution of karst landscapes. Stage 1 is the Chocolate Hills, later stages would be the ones in El Nido and Coron.
I’m with you, Paddy! 100%!
Agree about the whale sharks.
I Swam with Whalesharks in Exmouth, Western Australia off Ningaloo Reef. Fantastic natural experience!!
That rain ponchos’ window for people still be able to use their phone while it’s raining like texting or whatever
@@lionhearted1969 almost all islands in the South Pacific are pure limestone islands, they're also the youngest islands in the world 💀
@@arvina94 You don't know anything about the topic. Learn about geography first and come later and challenge my knowledge.:-)
Go to Donsol, Sorsogon where whalesharks are not being fed and living on their own.
Leave the whalesharks alone!
Respect. The canyoneering thing isn’t closed though. You went straight to Kawasan Falls which is indefinitely closed. You need to find the the folks offering canyoneering tours. They’re good people.
Absolutely agree about whalesharks, there's nothing natural in that activity and nothing to share on your RUclips channel 👏👏👏
Wow!...i must say i like casino peak than osmena peak and yes its a quite an adventure...visit mindanao as well Paddy 😁😁😁
