- Hey everyone. After a long wait and a month of preperation and building, I have finally finish Daytona international speedway. I had a great time creating this and hope you enjoy it. I have many plans for future creations with friends, including one that will cover the whole current minecraft world.

I'm working on a Charlotte track on minecraft I also thought hard about banking and stuff but in the end I decided it looked best without it! But this is one of the best tracks I've seen great job!

I do have an Idea for an amazingly huge custom track that will be built after the Xbox One version comes out. It will be HUGE! More details swill come later, but thanks to everyone for the interesting and cool suggestions :)
Sorry but it will be created on a super flat world, and cannot be recreated by just putting in the seed, however if the Xbox one version comes out with a better map sharing technique, then I will happily put it up for download ;)

You should build the Indianapolis Motor Speedway! I built a replica of the track, with the brick start/finish line too. I built a 1-block-high barrier around the track with snow, and used iron bars as catchfence. I'm still working on the grandstands.

Nice track nikie I have a daytona track on one of my minecraft world as well but it's a much smaller replica than it is to yours you obviously put much detail and hard work but only thing with my track is I don't have banking because me and my friends do running races with sprint on that track and the banking would stop us that's the only down fall but only way to race freely

Would you consider adding cars to the track to act like a race is happening
It depends, I wouldn't be able to add them on the banked turns as they would look a little weird. I have thought about adding cars in the garage area, or pit road.

+Walter O Brien true, it would've looked nice, however since the backstretch is gone, it seems pointless. However, I did make that mistake with Talladega, as the backstretch stands there also seem to be gone.

What block did u use to make the banking? I'm making canadian motor speedway plz answer
I used half slab blocks mixed with stone blocks via the plastic texture pack. The type of half slabs and blocks will depend on how you are styling your track.
Alright thx and do u know if there is a video on utube on how to do the banking? Cuz I don't know how to do it lol
The banking was custom, It two two tries to get it where it was. I unfortunately do not know of any banking tutorial video, sorry.

I have both the start/finish line and victory lane, I didn't show it much in the video though
They're not taking down the back straight at Grand fans
A few weeks ago, I was able to talk to the president of Daytona speedway in a private/public tour, showing off the new stands. He said that they are going to wrap up construction, then tear down the back stretch stands, maybe two years from now. He said that having both stands up costs too much, when they don't use both all the time :)
