Mixon was a 3rd Down back that converted to an All-down back. Moss is a dedicated 1st down back.
Moss and brown are gonna be phenomenal for the bengals .
Moss was terrific for us (the Colts) in 2023! I wish we had him back in 2024 to pair with Taylor. (His running reminds me a lot of Taylor). The Bengals got a good one!

This is a major improvement. Joe hasn’t broken 2 tackles on 1 run in 3 seasons.
Someone must not have seen what he did to the 49ers. Torched a top 5 run defense when he finally was allowed 15+ carries. He will go elsewhere and ball out, hes not the one asking to pass the ball 50+ times a game.

Fellow Bengals fans if you havent noticed the majority of these run plays are from shotgun formation. Burrow loves to operate out of shotgun a lot of the time. As much as we all loved Mixon his best runs were not from this formation. This is 100% a scheme fit and Im fine with it. Do you all think we will be mainly a rb by committee approach or do yall think Chase Brown will get like a 70/30 split over Moss? Moss apparently is a lot better at picking up blitzes too
I believe this will be a running back by committee offense. I’m sad to see Mixon go, but this is a great pickup/replacement. Welcome to the Jungle, Mr. Moss. WHO DEY!!!

id like to bring this guy back. JT and Moss can be a really nice 1 2 combo. i just wounder if our coaches know how to use them together. i didnt think they did a great job of that once JT got back.

He pass blocks very well also. That should keep him on field for the majority of the offense of snaps this year.

Looks like he has no issue running out of shotgun (like Mixon seemed to). Hard to tell how good he can be with these clips, the oline was opening lanes which isn't what Bengals line have done routinely. I like he catches and run routes, and doesn't go down on first contact thou. Should be upgrade.

orrrrr sign him to only one to two year as a contingency plan for JT, just to make sure hes seriously healthy and then trade him and get all those said problems in our team from the draft and save moss for a trade for a new problem we will have

Yeah but the Bengals don't have the Colts Offensive line. He will end up running into the backs of the O-line just like Mixon.

@Dir24MM IDC about stats, only abilities. Bengals OL doesn't have Nelson, Smith, Raimann or Kelly. Moss is a serviceable back, but he's not close to what Mixon is.

@@Dir24MM Bengals OL has Orlando & Trent Brown minus Joe Mixon. All this with the addition of Mike G, they'll more than likely be a very pass heavy team, even more so than they were in the past. My homework is always done on all NFL teams
