The 2006 Bears-Cardinals game of which Rex Grossman threw 4 picks and they pulled off a win, that got Dennis Green fuming. He knew that his team got them a gift 😂
They let them off the hook 😂
@@bdawg2690 Now if you wanna crown ‘em, then CROWN their asses!
THE BEARS WERE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE
@@Gulag00Bear 🐻 Down
Blowing a 21 point lead without the defense allowing a touchdown will forever be an all time failure lmfao
That 2004 Bears-Titans game still amazes me. The feat of ending the game with a safety in overtime is so underappreciated, the general factors surrounding it makes it mythical.
I forgot all about that game. I thought there was only one game that ever ended on a safety.
Underrated comment right here 🎉
That Packers win over the Chargers got San Diego’s coach fired. They hired Don Coryell the next day. That was a win by losing.
The Packers defense forced 9 fumbles(6 lost), recorded 8 sacks, and 11 total turnovers. Willie Buchanon had 4 INTS. 11 turnovers is the most in a game by a single team in the Superbowl era
11 turnovers should've gotten EVERYONE fired lol
"Hester with the punter to beat...he beat him!"
Tirico's call of that TD is legendary
They are who we thought they were. And we LET EM OFF THE HOOK
you wanna crown them , then CROWN THEIR ASS
If you want to crown their ass, crown their ass!
Just pick 90% of Steelers games and you'd have a good list
Probably every Steelers game from 1990-2009
gotta also include the ones from 2010 onwards. sloppy steelers teams despite having great rosters
@@mariosnum1fanWhat about them leads to them playing sloppy?
@@fortynights1513 We have a dysfunctional offense, and Tomlin doesn't prepare the team as a whole enough.
As a Raider fan I find this hilarious, but true. Steelers have 6 rings, and about 60 blown games.
Almost any Steelers win be like:
Exactly
The reason is because we have a dysfunctional offense no thanks to a guy who clearly can't coach in the NFL and is the #1 thing holding Kenny Pickett back.
Sometimes it's better to be on the winning side of these games. I still remember the '06 game against the Raiders. First time I ever said a cuss word as Ben was determined to throw the game away (4 picks) lol
@@LiamDeege Your dumbass just said a super bowl winning coach with ZERO losing seasons in his 17 year career cant coach...
True
Mike Tirico is on the call for a surprising number of these.
It would make me physically ill if I was on a team that more than *quadrupled* the total yardage of the other team and still lost.
Any given sunday
Rex grossman bears got the Superbowl was one of the ugliest things happening.
And not winning it is even uglier. Lmao
Hester and that defense carried them
When I tried to make the worst team possible in Madden once, I took Rex Grossman and surrounded him with a bunch of scrubs.
Grossman was one of the Worst quarterbacks to get to 1,500 career pass attempts.
What's crazy is that 2006 season was by miles and miles his best in the NFL, he was actually somewhat competent in some of those games. Then he stunk it up and got hurt, shipped out to washington.
@@chrisitalia8868actually Rex struggle with injuries first than his 06 season he lit the NFL on fire his first 5 games he had almost perfect passer rating bears were scoring 38 something points a game than boom Rex being Rex happen.
Felt like the Bears for the longest time lived their seasons “the ugly way.” Always relying on the defense or special teams to win when the offense wasn’t much help.
What an ugliest end to 2007 Miami @ Steelers in muddy rain game
Even more uglier is that it was on the day before Sean Taylor's death.
And around that time Stuart Scott started to feel the symptoms of the cancer that would be his death
All around an ugly a** day for sports
That Bills against Cleveland was my first ever football game
You got a stinker for your first game.
I know I really hoped the Bills would have at least won
I was watching that game on TV. I was 8. It's a game I remember for being a snoozefest
1993 patriots at steelers. New england entered the game as a massive underdog, yet they jumped out to a 14-0 lead. The steelers then scored 17 unanswered to take the lead, thanks to 6 patriot turnovers. It was 17-14 at halftime and 17-14 as a final. Despite all the errors, New england still had a chance to win. On the goaline, rookie qb drew bledsoe didn't extend his arms and didn't make it into the endzone. Bledsoe is 6 foot 5 inches
1:57 “Jeff Reed, 17/18, missed a 500 trillion yard kick in week 7”
He was better than people gave him credit for
Jeff Reed out there trying to set records to make up for Pittsburgh's offense.
@@coolguy02536 coaches did him dirty messing up his perfect record by sending him out for a 65 yard FG
His career long was 53, wild that they even had him try 65
The fact the bears won with Rex grossman who had a qb rating of 1.3 against the Vikings still amazes me
That Vikings team was AWFUL. The whole season was torture to watch, but at least it had that Chester Taylor 95 yard TD run.
Devin Hester really showed how he was a game changer in those 2 games. His kickoff return in the Super Bowl was also legendary but unfortunately, the other side had Peyton Manning and Co.
2:42 I love how the Raiders have two of the greatest punters ever, including the best, yet this punter holds that record.
And AJ Cole is good 😂
You talking about Ray Guy?
The number of games from 2006 is staggering!
That year in general seems underwhelming
That 2021 Patriots-Bills game was bizarre. Mac Jones only threw the ball like 3 times because of the wind gusts. He’s never been the same QB since
I like how Rex is part of multiple games on this list. Talk about a squandered opportunity with how good that defense was.
Steelers game playlist
Maaaaan I remember that 06 season. Giving me flashbacks to thinking how the hell did Rex Grossman lead the Bears to a super bowl appearance. But then I remember their stellar D and Devin Hester lmao
He was actually kind of OK for a lot of that season, his one kind of competent nfl season, then he stunk and got hurt, shipped out to washington
That Titans Jaguars one from 2006 was one of the weirdest games I've ever seen. 398 yards of offense to 98 for Tennessee. But turnovers will turn a good game into a bad game quickly and that's what happened in that case.
I was stationed at Diego Garcia. Up at 2 am watching the 2016 raiders game where they had all those penalties. And then that crazy OT walk off TD. What a game
I was at the Dolphins/Steelers 0-3 game. Literally huddled under bridges trying to avoid the downpour for pregame haha.. still very memorable
Also.. the very last game they showed… Texans/Steelers was my first ever Steeler game for my birthday when I was 12. I don’t remember it being so disappointing but crazy that the stats were so one sided
3-0 sounds like some of my wins in madden
that storm was brutal. as soon as i saw how bad it was raining, i put $100 on the under. i only wish i had bet more.
As someone that plays defense I love watching these types of games fr 😂
4 ints and a win 😂
thats some madden shit
That’s how bad the cardinals were playing😂😂😂💀
Devin Hester and the Bears D , pretty much the only reason the Bears made it to the super bowl vs the colts
Mr carried aka Rex Grossman 2006
That’s what happens when your defense was that good and you have Devin Hester Returning Punts
You can pick almost any Steelers game from the past 5 years and it can end up on this list
Throwback, I love your content. Keep it up!!
If there's one thing I love just as much a perfect football, it's bad and ugly football. Turnovers everywhere are hilarious. Watching a team breakdown a qb is fun. Bad elements making grown men slip and slide unable to hold on to the pigsskin is art. Kickers flailing around and their kicks going no where near the goal post is jaw droppingly stunning.
This was a phenomenonal compilation.
Thanks for posting these
imagine telling someone both teams would reach the Super Bowl in the next three years and one player is a future agent of the FBI
That 1978 Packers/Chargers game was back when Green Bay played some of their home games in Milwaukee, explaining the baseball outline on the field.
That was at San Diego.
Y’all put by this together after the latest Ravens Steelers, huh? We stan a timely channel.
In the 70s this was just called good clean football
Rule changes that helped the passing game hadn’t been implemented yet, and there were some very talented defenders in the late 60’s and early to mid 70’s.
Low scores were very common, and players throwing for as many as 25 touchdowns in a season were rather uncommon.
I remember the Cowboys and Bills game I’ll never forget Tony’s face during the postgame interview he couldn’t believe it!
Some of these stats are mind boggling, 16 punts by one team, 22 penalties for 200yds., 3-0 score, 12 combined turnovers, 24 total yds and only 3 first downs but you win comfortably...just nuts. However, this list is missing the Colts vs Cowboys Superbowl, or as most know it, the Blunder Bowl.
Ah yes, that Super Bowl had 11 combined turnovers and 13 punts combined.
So a lot of drives didn’t lead to either team scoring.
In the words of Dallas writer Norm Hitzges on the NFL Top 10 segment on Foul-Ups from 2008: “That game looked like the game we’d send to London so people could see ‘American Football’. It was just dreadful.”
1:06 That’s what I was Telling you all btw great vid
the way the ball just plopped onto the ground 🤣
That 2006 bears defense was nasty. Such a bruising defense they were able to pick up rex Grossman's slack. They had to content with their own offense and the other teams offense it was such an impressive defense
A W is a W no matter how pretty or ugly it is
you gotta love the comedy of ugly wins. Lol
Unless it's your team that loses.
You could do every Steelers win in the Matt Canada era
Try every Steelers win period.
I remember watching that Pittsburgh Miami game.
it was epic got to love the Mud Games!
Casually watching this and seeing Goated plays my Devin Hester makes me feel good inside 😂. Blessed to actually have watched him play his whole career.
Who's here after the Vikings-Raider game?
2007 Steelers vs Dolphins was "The Room" of football games. It's so bad it's actually remarkable. I remember staying up late that night watching that disaster and I'm not a fan of either team 😂
I was at the Steelers Texans game. Other than a crappy game, it was cold as hell that day.
Funny I’m seeing this as the Vikings-Raiders are about to go final
I love my Vikings but, my god that was a terrible football game! A 3-0 💩
I immediately thought of this 😊
Crazy games
2007 cowboys at bills
I really miss watching Eddie George play
I do love Throwbacks habit of expanding a shorter clip into a full blown video a la Steelers-Texans
That 06 Bears Defense and Special Teams saved their butts that entire season.
My Favorite Video 📸 NFL Throwback
The graphics for that bears-titans in ‘04 looks clean
Man the 06 Bears on here multiple times, I guess they were who we thought they were
You kno you're watching a vintage highlight when you see TNT in the top corner lol
2000 ravens jets, jets needed that game to get into the playoffs, and choked that so hard.
Great video
The Browns forced 7 turnovers and still lost. Their futility in those years was truly unmatched
As a Dolphins fan, I totally remember that 3-0 loss vs. Pittsburgh in the sludge.
crazy that 2 of these games were the same season the bears went to the super bowl
This could just be an entire compilation of every Mike Tomlin Steelers win the last 11 years
Anyone else feel like NFL football in the 1970's was just two teams farting around for 60 minutes and waiting for the other team to throw a pick-6?
9:00 Derek Carr stat line was the most shocking thing on this video lol
1999/2000 Cleveland Browns offensive line was all time bad. Tim Couch got murdered by opposing defenses.
that broncos bills game on monday, damn near every stealers game this season
These ain’t Ugly Wins. It just shows you that DEFENSE WINS GAMES TOO. ✅
I don't like the no quarter, no clock, no score during the highlights style of this video. Thanks for the upload, I'm sure many will watch this without a problem.
Dennis Green's one dimensional logic to hold on to a lead. He was playing "Marty Ball" and got the same results.
Lots of bears and steeler games here👀
Tim Tebow for the Broncos had some ugly wins. I remember dude hade like 76 passing yards and they still won. I’m surprised his not on the list.
The 2002 Steelers-Texans game was the absolute worst; I was at that game. And it eventually ended up costing me a fantasy league championship, as all those Texans defensive points got counted against the Steelers D, who actually dominated the game.
How did I just know the Steelers would be on here a bunch of times lmaooo
Ok so just before that Steelers-Dolphins game I was searching prop bets on my gambling site and my roomie looks over my shoulder and sees "zero touchdowns" - at 35/1. "Gimme 10 bucks on that." - Bingo!
1992 seahawks 2 and 14. Best D in the league. Knew there had to be at least one game from 92 lol
Statistically, they weren't anywhere near the top.
Mike tirico has seen some shit dude omg
Greatest Ugly Wins In NFL History New York Jets Beat Washington Redskins 3 To 0 From 1993 Thanks For Uploading
Bears: 6 turnovers, 9 first downs; all 3 TD came on DEF/ST; are who we thought they were
Football's funny that way: only the points matter.
Morale of the story, the Bears have always had a bad offense.
The Rams vs Patriots Super Bowl was the lowest win I've ever seen
Love hearing Dan Campbell's name twice just for the hell of it
The music is chill. Where do I find it?
2000 Lions at Jets 10-7 was pretty ugly considering (the winning score by the Lions consisted of an offensive fumble recovery in the end zone.) The tying FG attempt by the Jets wasnt blocked but still screwed up.
It would be the last Lions road win until 2004.
EDIT: the Lions opener at NO that year was also ugly. Only Lions td was a kick return by Desmond Howard.
Wow... Do NOT remember Des being on Detroit! Thanks for the info.
That Denver vs Seattle game was a rivalry game, since the Seahawks were in the AFC West in 1992. I wonder how much they hated each other?
Still hate the Broncos more than any team in the NFC West that's not San Francisco.
GO BIRDS
5:25 - 11 takeaways? My God
That 2021 playoff game between the Titans and the Bengals saw Joe Burrow get sacked 9 times and he still comes out the winner!
It's astonishing how many times the team that had no business winning, somehow found a way to win.
It’s the same feeling you get from winning a child custody battle against a crazy wife.
As a Saints fan, I’m surprised that the NOLA no call wasent on here. The Rams didn’t even deserve that victory
Patriots bills wind game is missing here. Patriots only attempted like 2 passes the whole game and won
Cool video
I really thought TB would get its first win of 1983. I saw Houston lose in OT to Cleveland the same day.
Honestly the fact the bears are in this video multiple times alone just shows we really wasn’t good offensively ever !!
I had Bills season tickets from 1989 until 2010. I saw over 200 games; preseason, regular season and postseason. That Browns-Bills game was the worst professional football game I ever saw. They talked about how bad the Browns were; but the Bills had nine false start penalties...AT HOME.
If you thought nine false start penalty was bad, try three straight false penalty cause by the saints during a ( I forgot) 2000s era football game. And I'm not even talking about the total of penalty in that game, I'm talking about the same down, 3rd and 5. About the time it was done, it was 3rd and 20th and I was like jeez 😒🙄
Bears and Cardinals made no sense 😂😂
How did the grounds crew for PIT not all get fired after that game? Did they not have an irrigate system on the field? Or not leave the field covered until right before the players came out for warm ups?
Dan Campbell out there biting kneecaps
A lot of those games were when ESPN had Sunday Night Football. Strange coincidence
