Thank you so much for doing the wear test. ❤️ Honestly 90.00 is a bit much for a foundation. It would have to one heck of a long wearing, perfect shade match foundation for me to pay that kind of dosh. Considering you are blotting, this foundation wouldn't stand a chance on my oily skin. Thanks for the honesty.
I love that you assure us that it's not mandatory to spend this kind of money. This is a special occasion type purchase for most of us! Given the price tag, I'm so happy it turned out to be good and worked out for you!
I love that you use that Wet N Wild brush. I definitely have regrets not spending the few bucks to pick it up! 😩 but who knew a gimmicky brush would be so good! I’m still on the hunt for a holy grail foundation brush.
I wonder why the price is so high...maybe if there were skin care benefits...MAYBE I could justify it. But I’m going to stick with my Maybelline matte & porelesss - but I do like watching others try it!!
Your face looks so flawless! My initial thoughts on this foundation was not good for a few reasons so I took it back. But I kept thinking about it so I repurchased it again a couple of days ago. I figured out I was not using the best primer with it. So, I’ve worn it the past two days with a more Hydrating primer and I LOVE IT! Pat recommended to use your hands or brush with it and I like it with my hands (blends great) or a brush, so you’re right you can use your hands.
I’m loving this foundation and I have tried most. I thought I needed full coverage but this does something that just makes my skin feel a look beautiful ❤
I'm back here looking at this fancy foundation! I got the sample of medium 17 and it wasn't quite right for my skintone. I wish I'd watched this video before I went to Selfridges. Anyway, now I know!!
It's $68 US so the $90 must be Canadian? I use the Light Medium 14 - light medium with neutral/olive undertones and absolutely will repurchase. It's extremely hard to find a light olive. I'm super oily but this ends up (after many hours) being an all over dewiness which I don't mind. I simply blot and lightly powder the tee.
Thanks for your comment at the beginning of not going into debt just for buying expensive makeup. There always cheaper alternative. It definitely looks good on you this foundation
could you do a review on the new colourpop pretty fresh tinted moisturiser once it comes out ? I have oily skin and it is oil free however I want to see if it works for oily skin first before buying it xx
I have a budget for makeup this year: U$50 (if it is really good quality). Anything over this is a no go no matter what. I'd never spend U$68 in a glorified BB cream. You can buy 2 Fenty foundation with this, which can be cheered if you need.
I am afraid the alcohol will mess with my barrier and break me out. Also Pat claims they don’t test on animals or sell in mainland China but then none of the sites I trust will certify them cruelty free. It’s so frustrating because a bad ass black woman brand that sells some of the best products on the market is something I want to get behind but the lack of clarity is annoying.
I usually like your videos but wasn’t feeling the commentary in this one. Talking about people’s finances or lack there of isn’t necessary for a foundation review IMO. Either you like the product or don’t. Or you like the brand or don’t. I don’t see people up in arms about the price of La Mer, Sisley and even Armani’s foundation. It seems you don’t like it because of the price and that’s not everyone’s situation.
Did you watch the video because I say I like it and will continue to wear it 😂 I’m talking about the fact that there’s so many new launches and its overwhelming, if you look in the comments it’s appreciated that I mentioned it but that’s fine if it’s not for you. If you want to spend the money spend it, if you don’t, don’t - my review should never dictate 100% anyone’s actions just my opinion. If I didnt mention the price or if I think is worth it or if there’s anything comparable that’s the questions I’d get because I know generally what my audience wants to know
Nichole KM I didn’t day you weren’t entitled of course you are, just like I am mine as I stated my opinion on my review. I’m talking about in general if I didn’t mention the price I’d get questions because that’s what I’m always asked. I don’t think it’s as simple as liking it or not because that would be a quick review if I just said I liked it. I weighed the pros and cons and know for a lot of people myself included it’s overwhelming and expensive to be faced with so many products launching all the time - I really like the product and say that in the video, and I’ve continued to wear it!
You said you don’t see people up in arms about other brands but I’ve never reviewed those and if I did I’d mention the price. I’m not trying to argue but you’re making assumptions and saying I don’t like something because of the price when that’s not the case, I say I love the way it looks/feels and will be continuing to wear it and I have been
Talking about people using their credit cards or going into debt over cosmetics feels a bit preachy and off putting to me. It turned ME off. I usually enjoy your videos and have spent time on your blog. You have your comments turned on and I’m giving my feedback. 🤷🏽♀️ I won’t argue with you. I said what I said and now I’m done.
Exactly. It is a glorified BB cream. For this place, these foundations are better options as they can be cheered to be BB cream if you need it. For U$68, Jason Mamoa would have to bring it to my home. 😂😂😂😂😂
Many of the high end foundations I’m the darkest option which makes no sense because I’m medium brown. Pat covered a very large color range because yes-dark complexion women/men want to buy expensive a$$ makeup too! Smh!
I am so glad you mentioned not going broke. There have been so many releases this year but you can't buy them all for one face.
Ok found someone who wears my shades 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
yesss!!
Me tooooooo

I’m very supposed myself 😂

Exactly, I use maybelline fit me dewy. Good price and good product!
If it ain’t broke!
Wow that is a perfect match for you! Unfortunately it's too many coins for me. Beautiful, tfs! 💜

Oh good to know!!!
I’m loving this foundation and I have tried most. I thought I needed full coverage but this does something that just makes my skin feel a look beautiful ❤
Still one of my faves!!!
I’m oily prone and set this foundation with matt loose powder
make my face look so flawless all day ❤
It’s sooo good!
Looks beautiful on u. I got a sample and love it. The natural look is the best part for me since I rarely wear makeup.
Glad you’re liking it too!!!
I love these since we are the same shade so I cannot wait for new foundation reviews and this one and the Fenty one are on the wishlist 👍🏻❤️
Yesss perfect!!

Thank you!!
Do you think it is a significantly better than the Nars tinted moisturizer? How are the kids getting along?
I’d like to know this as well @samantha Jane
Love this review!!! Thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks for watching!!!
I wish my foundation made my husband more attentive! 😂😂😂
Ahhaha I mean you can try!!
can it beat revlon ability ? is it waterproof like revlon colorstay.??.i can jump into pool and the revlon foundation still stay on skin!!
Can you please try the new Charlotte Tilbury foundation as well?
It’s on my list to try!!!!

I will try a sample the next time that I’m in a Sephora. It would have to be the best foundation that I’ve ever tried in order to buy it. 😕💸
Good morning , great review , thanks for sharing , you look great . Have a great day 💖💖💖
Thanks Janee!!

Awesome!
Looks amazing on your skin!!! I would be try it if would be available here!!! Price is also the problem. Thank you for the video
I get what you meant by wanting to not like this foundation 😂🙈 definitely gave you a beautiful natural finish 😍👏🏾
Thanks!!!!
Pat's foundation is pretty nice. Hate the price tag. How's Em and Roux getting along? They are both so beautiful. XXOO
It’s up there - it’s going okay, good days and bad haha
I know this is an old video but what is the name of that particular brush? I followed the link but several brushes are shown

You’re amazing!!
aw thanks!!
I think it looks great on you! I'm in canada as well and I'm really trying to justify the price tag lol I wish it was 50 or 60 here!
Haha riiiiight
This or the Tom ford matte?
Thanks for your review lovely. 😉😊💄🎨
Great advise and review. How are the 🐈🐈
Gooood!!!! Not best friends ... yet 😂
Great content
Thanks!
I looked at the ingredients and there’s absolutely nothing that could cause clogged pores or acne. Maybe that’s why it’s so expensive!
You have beautiful skin.
Does it have as much alcohol as the Dior Backstage?
Thank you ☺️ so much for being honest. Too much money 💵
I love it but the price is up there for sure!
Won’t make your boyfriend more attentive. LOL 😂
😂😂😂
Ey, fellow golden peach here.
Yesssss
ناناز❤
It's $106 AUD 😭 i hate that i kinda like this foundation 😭
Hahah same same
$90 omg. Not cheap.
Nopeeeee
Looks great on you but way too expensive for me. 🤣🤣
Please tell people to follow the directions and SHAKE the bottle
Tricky to do it retroactively 😂 I’ve used it both ways though and it’s been good
$90 😅😅😅😅😅

She could keep her expensive a$$ foundation...I'll stick with my high-end Giorgio Armani, CHANEL and YSL.

I rather in a black owned brand than those brand who dont care about my demographic
