Every Gullwings Scene in Kingdom Hearts II (HD)

- It should be noted that this wasn't recorded from Kingdom Hearts II.5 Remix. It was recorded using a PS2 emulator and my personal copy of the game, using upcropped visuals.
There is one "scene" missing from this collection. Exclusively from the Final Mix version, there's a very brief (Half a second), non-voiced, cutscene where the Gullwings fly across the screen to show you the direction of the Cave of Remembrance. I don't think it should count, but I guess it technically makes the title of this video a lie.

Yeah, about that. Tidus in KH isn't same as FFX sadly.
In fact, if you play KH1, there's a hint of that Selphie (FFVIII) has crush on Tidus.

The camera would’ve had issues focusing on all of them if they were normals. That’s why they were reduced to fairies

I really was expecting them to make a cameo in kingdom hearts 3, so sad I didn't saw them or the rest of the final fantasy characters in the game (not counting the dlc)

can't decide yuna or paine...which is best...so can't decide but I love the video
A qUuestion that ive got is why do they make an appearance in KH2, i get that the KH series likes mixing final fantasy and disney together to make an interesting universe, but my main curiosity question, is why did Yuna, Paine and Riku make an appearance, what their story in the KH universe why are they miniature and what is their motive if not point in the plot, are they just brief cameos, or something more.

No reason, I guess. Their addition could be because of their, at the time, imfamous status among gamers. You'd understand if you ever played Final Fantasy X-2, one of the most headscratchingly strange sequels to one of the best FF games ever. As for the plot, they don't really affect it, you could remove them from the game and the plot wouldn't change a bit, to be honest.

Well~ ... Kh2 and FFX both same game for ps2... That time ffx really succesfull and really popular... Although "YRP" really famous to all ff fan at that time ~ ... So it basically just fan service from nomura or SE i think ~ (they just for comedy part... Y know when they just search for treasure... And donald lying that leon have treasure but he actually dont have treasure) ~

Well, they were working for Maleficent, who is an evil fairy. And that's literally all I got.
It’s so all three of them can fit the screen at the same time.

They wanted to be able to fit all 3 of them on screen with Sora, Donald and Goofy so it wouldn't be too crowded
However, I feel like they could have made them normal sized and figured something else out because the fairy size thing is so random
