There are very few games that can truly pull off that large scale battle and make it actually feel like your fighting the hoards. This is one of the best.

With how much they experiment with the series like chain of memories and melody of memory I wouldn't be surprised if they make a warriors game and actually have it tie in to the ongoing lore

I do realize that back then there were some technical limitations, but the ps4 should be able to handle it, given that it's just a PS2 game.

I think 1,000,000 is pretty excessive. How about 100,000 (or 50,000 if that's still too much) on a huge battlefield with many character groups fighting at once, and every kill by every character counts? Sora, Donald and Goofy would be your group, Yuffie and Leon would be another, etc. And you can go anywhere on the battlefield and help out the other groups if you want, or just let them do their thing and keep fighting off your own Heartless.

braig lost his eye back in BBS after he fought Terra in Radiant Garden. Terra used the darkness inside him for a bit, and shot Braig - one hitting his right eye and the other giving him the scar on his face
I remember first playing this when it first released. Like a weirdo, I made a save game just so I can play it over and over again. I loved the OST and the concept leading to it so it was always cool to me.
Xigbar was referring to the time when his human self (Braig), Dilan (Human form of Xaldin), and Ansem the Wise found Terra-Xehanort who had lost his memories due to Xehanort trying to lock Terra's heart.
Shit gave me chills hearing Cloud and The other FF characters with Voice actors for the first time and seeing ones from other games interact like OMG childhood nerdgasm

dh18 I often heard people complaining about Demyx before I fought him for real, and I didn't really understand what they were complaining about. Hm, well I found out rather quickly. I got past the water clones alright, but then I just got absolutely destroyed by Demyx after lol
I feel like this game is Maleficent recognizing Sora as an actual threat. Notice how in KH1, she always calls Sora a brat or something related to his status as a keyblade wielder, and doesn't take him very seriously, even after he starts sealing keyholes, eventually being forced to fight him in Hollow Bastion, but still not quite taking him seriously as a threat, despite Sora having defeated all the disney villains she was working together with. we all know she lost this fight, even with the help of Ansem-Riku to get her in her dragon form. But notice how in KH2 mainly, first of all, she never fights Sora in this game, or any game onwards (besides the fight in BBS in her own world, but this was long before the events of KH1) This could be for 2 reasons. Either A, she sees the Organization and nobodies as a bigger threat, and doesn't want to have to deal with Sora too, or she just knows that she can't beat him in a battle, and this is why she is always seen disappearing, and often sending out heartless to attack Sora for her whenever he appears. Another thing I noticed, is instead of the insulting names she used in the first game, she always calls Sora by name from KH2 onwards. I believe this is because she knows Sora is too powerful for her to beat him, and sees him as a legitimate threat, having been killed by her previously -Random Kingdom Hearts enthusiast on the internet
I wish Sinister Shadows was more similar to the original KH2's. The more natural orchestral treatment just feels weaker compared to the synthesized strings and percussion from the original.

Honestly, what could have helped base KH3 be good like KH2? Shorter time gap between 2 & 3? Nomura not getting pulled into Final Fantasy Versus development? Lesser spin off games that are essential to the plot?

Holy F@#$ing Sh#$!!! I just had a thought! To those of you who've seen Back Cover, does Xigbar/Braig with his hood up remind you of someone? The way he talks, moves his arms for emphasis, subtly hinting to people about something we can't fully guess at. Not to mention that he's one of two people in the KH series with only one eye. I don't have any other proof other than this, but the First Master from KH Back Cover seems SCARILY similar to Xigbar to me after watching this again after seeing BC.

I feel like this game is Maleficent recognizing Sora as an actual threat. Notice how in KH1, she always calls Sora a brat or something related to his status as a keyblade wielder, and doesn't take him very seriously, even after he starts sealing keyholes, eventually being forced to fight him in Hollow Bastion, but still not quite taking him seriously as a threat, despite Sora having defeated all the disney villains she was working together with. we all know she lost this fight, even with the help of Ansem-Riku to get her in her dragon form. But notice how in KH2 mainly, first of all, she never fights Sora in this game, or any game onwards (besides the fight in BBS in her own world, but this was long before the events of KH1) This could be for 2 reasons. Either A, she sees the Organization and nobodies as a bigger threat, and doesn't want to have to deal with Sora too, or she just knows that she can't beat him in a battle, and this is why she is always seen disappearing, and often sending out heartless to attack Sora for her whenever he appears. Another thing I noticed, is instead of the insulting names she used in the first game, she always calls Sora by name from KH2 onwards. I believe this is because she knows Sora is too powerful for her to beat him, and sees him as a legitimate threat, having been killed by her previously

I wish Sinister Shadows was more similar to the original KH2's. The more natural orchestral treatment just feels weaker compared to the synthesized strings and percussion from the original.

But there were times when I played the game and was expecting some of the original melodies and was hit with something almost completely different. It was a surprised but nothing to make me dislike it though.

That was in my top 3 most favourite battle sequence in all Kingdom Hearts especially the 1000 vs 1. I just love seeing those fools thinking they have a chance and come at me so that I can destroy them. It was an amusing battle.
