- Supporters of convicted felon Donald Trump have been posting threats of violence ever since the jury verdict came in. But the real threat could emerge after Trump is sentenced on July 11. If his supporters decided to make good on any of their threats, it would not only be a disaster for the country, but it would be a political disaster for the entire Republican Party. If violence does take place after the sentencing, Democrats also need to run ads of the Republicans who will inevitably defend the violence.

I honestly the majority of the country chooses President Biden for re-election for our sake as a country and for the sake of the U.S. Constitution, Democracy and everything that makes America what it is.
Sadly, that might not be enough. Hillary Clinton won a majority of the popular vote in 2016 but lost in the Electoral College. It nearly happened again with Biden in 2020; a shift of as few as 48,000 votes in the right states would have handed Trump another EC victory even though he lost the popular election by more than _seven million_ votes.

Not to mention all the Secret Service officers I've know over the years. My heart has always been with fallen officers and those who put theirs lives on the line every day. Because Merrick Garland is a stooge for the Federalist Society and didn't want to prosecute a president. He was more worried about the 'optics' than about upholding the law.
Because it would be very hard to prove that he himself was the mastermind behind the insurrection. Don't get me wrong, he was. His speech about marching down to the Capitol and fighting like hell to take back the country is definitely his way of goading them to action, but proving it in court is another matter. Especially with so many Trump-appointed judges who will rig the trial in his favor.

Just pointing out "rioting" in america has almost always had a positive impact on influencing voters to vote in the way it was intended to. Its how LGBT was formed, its how we got civil rights for black people, its a significant reason why trump got voted out last time. Do not assume that republicans will not follow the same pattern. It would be a relief if a running candidate for any position answer a simple (Yes or No) question. I get frustrated when someone is asked a yes or no question and they totally avoid answering yes or no and go on a off topic rant that has nothing to do with the original question. If you want to be real with voters, just answer the damn questions yes or no! This is the achilles heel when it comes to trusting politics that nobody wants to answer!
