Excellent point of view Mr. Taiwo. I think international students especially the Punjabis are spending their tuition on cars and exspensive stuffs and then working various jobs to pay off their tuition which is wrong.

Holding a student visa in Canada between 2021 & 2024 is equivalent to a work permit. Holders of the students visa work full time and many don’t even attend classes. There are many shitty college programs out there. A science student in a strong British or U.S. university will not even be able to work 20 hours a week because of how rigorous the programs are

How strict are the employers with the working hours for the students.

Im not sure any of this is a problem at all. Canada should come first, young Canadians should come first instead of competing with millions of foreign adults for entry level jobs. In the U.S. you cant even work off campus and your hours are limited to 20. If you bloat your fees in a foreign country as a student and you cant afford it perhaps you should go home? Also students should not be allowed to own houses in Canada during a housing crisis for Canadians.

I think that is why they demand for the proof of funds and sponsor. But most people lie in their applications so when the need arises for the sponsors to help, it is not possible bcos they just use those sponsors to get the visas
