I used to hit that SA everyday on my way home from work before hopping on the LIRR 🤣. Good spot, just a bit tight in the aisles. Also gets crowded and not much room. There also used to be another thrift store next door but I was there this year for the first time in years and it looks like it closed down. The SA in Astoria on Steinway street is good too. Def worth checking out as theres another thrift shop up the block from it and both right off the Steinway st subway stop
Thanks for watching! I have another video which includes this SA. It shows that they cleaned it up a bit and made some headway into making it look more like a thrift shop and less a junk shop! ruclips.net/video/yGQDz1-DDdA/видео.html
@@longislandthrifter I went to this Salvation Army (Woodside) yesterday to drop off donations. I have to go back to look for some gems! Thanks for the info!
This is so fun. I feel like I’m in the store with you and I need you to stop and look at stuff with me. Also you taught my very tech husband about google lens and now he’s geeking out. Question: about how many items do you ship each week?
Thanks and glad I could teach your husband about google lens! I love it! Shipping varies...and if you ask any thrifter right now, sales have been very slow -- probably because the economy is not doing great. Sometimes I sell 2 or 3 things a day and sometimes nothing. As we get into the recession, I think more people will start turning to the "pre-owned" market to save money. Thanks for watching!
No way! That salvation army is right near my aunts house. When you stopped to show the train shes right around the corner from there! Very cool video.
Thanks so much for watching!
