Ngl using gogeta ssj4 or mui defeats the purpose of the trial of getting to Z. Both of them are used nearly 20% more than any other character and considering that there's 181 other characters that stat is insane.

Quick tip, guys if you ever find yourself fighting a Broly or anybody that spams ki blasts when in sparking mode, you should take a few of them and press L1+L1 to counter it. Your chatacter will automatically dash towards the enemy and hit him. You may get a chance for a combo.

@@Xokuz Its normal , with DP its balanced, but with a 1 vs 1 you need to be equal even if you are godlike going S and above rank with a joke character is close to imposible because there the skill is high.
I think for ranked to be more enjoyable and fleshed out, it should be a best of 3 format, and give out penalties to people that ragequit. Also, if you’re winning and the other person ragequits, you should get the exp for winning.
I got to A5 in singles and gave up. Too sweaty. Switched over to teams and I’m about B5. Been playing with Hercule, Recoom, Bardock, Raditz, and Scouter Vegeta. Been having a blast. Sometimes I’ll swap out Recoom and Hercule with Turles to go fill old style saiyan. Love this game. Love the community. Hate the cheese and rage quitters. Been practicing just punishing cheese. Not easy

Maybe i could slowly reach Z rank with black if they have fixed the disconnect. I honestly hope they reset everybody ranks after the fix

I reached Z rank playing ssj 2 adult gohan (65% win rate, about 450 matches). I think he’s a dp 7, so not a bad character, but very honest and fair. Once I hit S rank I def thought about going to the dark side and doing what everyone else was doing (Mui, ssj4 gogeta), but hitting z that way felt a little cheap to me and my journey. Regardless, I get why you gave in cuz I was close to doing the same thing
I’m s4 with like 400 matches because I’m being very stupid and never using the overpowered characters, in ranked I have only ever used ssj goku z mid and bardock, I really need to start using someone else if I want to get there quicker

I like kale in ranked 1v1. Two good transformations with different options depending on your opponent feels nice bit once i hit A5 i think ill have to start in one of the forms over wasting the skill points to transform

Just too much damage (admittedly).

I have a question , are you able 2 play with perks in rank ? If so how do u know or see the opponents perks ? Are you able 2 play with perks turned off ?
To play with perks when you search for a match, you have to equip enable abilities, if you turn the option off, then nobody will be able to play with perks.
@ basically in Sparking, certain Characters can vanish consecutively everytime you mash Circle in any direction. 9 times out of 10 this is a surefire way to dodge ultimates Without needing to Time it right
At this point from moving from b2 to A5 is hard bcause you keep playing agains broly ultspammers and afterimage spammers. Even in in A rank you got mad people rage quitting after failing to spam you to death 💀
