It feels almost insane how this matchup has recently been teased for the next upcoming Death Battle, with the same song and everything. Yet this was made long before the announcement
Whilst my heart was hoping for Steve vs Emmet to win (Yes, I know the matchup isn't the best, but Lego is one of the most important franchise of my life and I'm a hardcore advocate for it getting on), but I can't say I'm not excited. Here's hoping the episode itself is the final nail in the coffin to get me to play either game.

@@dhoward405Cole doesn’t scale to future beast which means Alex should be too durable for Cole to kill. Remember that Cole’s best feat comes from a future version of the beast that nobody scales too. And I doubt they would consider RFI standard. Even still that kills Cole. And they will likely use Canon Cole which means no evil. And given Alex can get to Massively Hypersonic while Cole is there consistently means Alex really just needs to get close to Cole and it’s over.
Doesn’t really matter which franchise came out first. What really matters is that both dead franchises have been good bad and ugly and it’s still enjoyable and entertaining to murder people and cause mayhem all around the world of both inFamous and Prototype

The fight is going to end with a nuke going off and the final blows will be Alex stabbing Cole while Cole tries to ionic drain him while his beast powers
This ended up being way longer than I intended but Alex will probably win. I think people get confused with this match up. People claim Cole is moon level even though the only character who performs a feat like that is future beast. A form of the beast that Cole doesn’t scale too. And given the beast was visibly vaporized by a standard nuke, Alex could easily survive several attacks from Cole. Because Alex in P2 is stated to be massively greater than the supreme hunter who was confident in surviving the super nuke that was more powerful than the one used on the beast. And for those saying the beast survived, he did. But that doesn’t mean that his body wasn’t completely destroyed. We even see visually that there is no beast anymore when he starts to absorb and regenerate himself. The only real advantage Cole has is consistently is faster. But he only gets to MHS and not FTL. The radiation he dodges was aim dodging during gameplay. To give a good example, I could potentially dodge a bullet if I was mid motion and the person shooting at me was a bit slower. Alex can also get to Hypersonic via blitzing faster than Heller can perceive. And Alex takes most other advantages. He is physically stronger and tougher. He is also able to move faster even if his reaction speed isn’t as good meaning he can get in close while still being slower in combat. Alex is smarter. Like way smarter. He was already a genius before becoming the blacklight virus but now he is a hive mind of millions of people, many of whom were master tacticians, strategists, scientists, teachers and everything else you can think of. Alex can also break down and turn inorganic material into biomass which is a better means of healing than Cole has. Cole is running on a more limited supply of power from a more limited source. And the nail in Coles coffin is the Black Light virus. The virus can infect people and completely effects the entire genetic code of someone and can manipulate it at will. Alex could just infect the entire battlefield and Cole couldn’t do anything to fight it. Alex would start to adapt to the conduit gene even before he fully consumed or infected Cole. And the mortality rate is far too high for Cole to have a chance in resisting. Remember that Coel specifically resisted the ray field plague because Conduits specifically resist ray field energy. Even then he was susceptible to the black Tar which Alex could easily replicate the effects. Hell Alex could just make Cole see the entire history of all the people that he assimilated into himself and cause Cole to have a full on information overload. Alex has a way better shot at winning than people realize
