I love your video! I'll definitely confirm that it is possible to get into private universities with financial aid. After not being able to afford the acceptances or not receiving enough financial aid (full, essentially) in my last application cycle and figuring out the inconsistencies in my application this year, I couldn't believe getting into a need-aware T20 on a full ride. For international students out there, it's definitely a lot of work, but it's absolutely possible and it's work that's worth it

- especially for intl students, it depends on your privilege
- your school, your college counselor, your act tutor, how much help you get with your academics, the summer programs you attend are largely determined by your monetary resources
- PARENTAL SUPPORT
- contacts for internships
Planning all this starts early - the moment you start high school
- Most social initiatives are gimmicks to get into college

I think a lot of us would like to know what curriculum you studied in, like C.B.S.E or I.C.S.E. And what your experience was studying in that curriculum and how many marks you got and how you balanced your amazing co-curriculars with your academics.

For instance, the areas where you found even a bit of difficulty throught out the application process and what is the appropriate time for the application process (specifically for Indian students) either fall or spring. Thanking you!:)

I have a doubt = if I had a drop in class 11 (percent) wise then how will it affect my chances of getting admitted, though I had a drop but I was in top 20-24% in school if any one could help 🙏😭

-Can u elaborate on the merit based scholarship provided to ppl who don't need Financial Aid.

1. Although Stern has a CS concentration, I'm pretty sure for the courses you're looking at NYU's College of Arts and Sciences will be where you apply.
2. Merit based scholarships = funds provided on the basis of your talent, and not need. Colleges do offer them (for this just search it up). Other than that, institutions rarely offer merit-scholarships to international students (most of them are for US citizens, and the ones for internationals are almost entirely just scams).
If you're planning to go for engineering then you should be applying to Tandon school of engineering...
