I have the natural one left-handed, sounds great, plugged in or through my Peavey amp. I let a passerby try and play it even though he was a righty, which he couldn't, which was a big mistake cuz he was wearing a watch on his strumming hand and and he officially gave my spanking new guitar it's first scratch, moral of the story, a guitar is like a woman, you don't lone her out, to anybody not even for a second.

I tried one of these at the local guitar store in mahogany. I have to say, I thought it sounded better than anything sub 2000.00 bucks. I think it is really that good. Plenty of sustain, similar snap like the Taylor's of you dig in to it a little and held tune as I played it several times. I kept coming back to this. Martin's sounded muted and flat, and were not as lively. Taylor's were very colorful but starting point is 3 times the price. Breedlove was good but action too high. Bottom line, these guitars are good sounding, good playing and the solid tops will age and sound even better. Plus, you can always upgrade the nut and saddle if you wish affordably. Simply awesome mahogany guitar

@@sotirzvanidjubre4109 I have a '72 Martin D-18 thst was handed down to me from my father. I'm 46-yrs-old and been playing for roughly 35 years. To date, that D-18 is the best sounding acoustic -- mic'd -- that I've ever played. As for this mediocre, low end Fender, its a shockingly well manufactured&Saagar's together guitar. Not sure I was just lucky and got my hands on a ringer, but it sounds amazing mic'd and with small strings which I tend to not use, but it sounds great on this thing. I don't like the pickup from the manufacturer, but I mic most of my gigs and all recordings anyways, so I didn't care about that crap pickup that fender installed.
I've played everything under the sun, so unless we're taking about playing $2000-3000 like the guy in the response already mentioned, this little Fender is nice, especially for flatpicking solos.
I'b play out w this thing and it's a great beginners guitar.

I started 1,5 month ago. Went to a shop and ask for the cheapest but still good working acoustic guitar. The reasoning behind it was, if it didn't work out I wouldn't feel bad about purchasing one. And I'm glad I did, because I'm not careful with it at all. I carry it with me all day, and bump into stuff and even found out, the anti mosquito spray I use strips paint.... My guitar looks like it has been on the road for years 😂. After all this, I'm ready for the Fender CD-60SCE but I will threat It like a baby, and for all the casual moments/beach days I use my Valencia

Yamaha FX370c. I owned one at it has a terrific sound and excellent sustain for a $250 guitar. Only reason I got rid of it was to upgrade to an LL16. For what it’s worth, I’d go with the Yamaha. I love Fender as much as the next guy, but in my humble opinion Yamaha makes a far superior acoustic. I’ve got a Fender Malibu, and granted it’s a smaller bodied guitar, but it was still $300.00. I used to have a Yamaha fx370c, which was $250, and it put the Malibu to shame. I upgraded to a Yamaha LL16 ARE and it destroys both of those guitars. I’d put it up against any high end Martin or Taylor any day of the week. I think the best thing you can do though is go to the store and play them. You can listen to everyone’s advice and watch videos on them all day, but in the end it’ll come down to your personal preference.

After watching this video I bought the Fender CD 60SCE guitar and it is a great guitar with a beautiful, warm sound. I recently broke the 1st E string and don't know what size strings were originally on the guitar or what size strings are best for this model of guitar for rock music. If anyone knows what size strings are on this guitar from the manufacturer I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for the great videos and for any recommendations for the best size strings.

If you haven’t started guitar, start with something like the fa-115, 125 because these guitars are really good for their price but a lot of people quit guitar after a bit so don’t buy an more expensive guitar above 200$ unless you’re really serious about guitar.

    • @pndamonium1241
      @pndamonium1241 4 года назад +1

Dev Brit thanks for the feedback, I’m not a beginner from zero on the guitar, this is more of a stand by for several years situation. I ended up buying a CD140SCE all mahogany since I got it in sale at around $300 in México, even less if we take into account the current exchange rate drop. I’ve watched several of your videos and they were really helpful, so thank you.

Great! I've found a few options for you! I
If you are a fan of classic rock I would recommend a Gibson This Gibson below is modeled after 60s guitars but I've played some myself and they are great for classic rock! This one is $1000 dollars off right now to so it's a steal!
      www.alamomusic.com/gibson-sg-standard-heritage-cherry/
If you are looking to spend a bit more, I would recommend this Gibson. It is modeled after Slash's (Guns N Roses guitarist) guitar and should be just the sound you are looking for!
      www.alamomusic.com/gibson-slash-les-paul-standard-november-burst/
If you want something a bit lower in price then This Fender should also do a great job!
      www.alamomusic.com/fender-player-lead-ii-crimson-red-transparent-pau-ferro-fingerboard/
If you have any other questions just let us know! Also at the end of the day if you want to play classic rock any decent guitar should do. Just make sure you personally like the sound of the guitar! (:

Mahogany is wood type and Fishman is the electronic pickup system installed on the guitar so that you can plug it to the amplifier and play. Both things are different!
