Im Native American and im also a realist. When it comes to MMIW I can tell you exactly where we need to start. We need to start at home by building dependency treatment centers , raising awareness and strong guidance and parenting to help our younger generation make the best choices in life. Not all but I guarantee the majority of these crimes are happening in the presence of drugs and alcohol. Until these changes are made things will continue to be the way they are now.

Beautiful. I am so proud of you. Education about our Culture & Tradition is a priority. I raised my children on the reservation & they know where they come from. My second oldest is a Commission Officer in the Navy. My youngest son is an Air Force Security Forces. My oldest son's wife has been in the Air Force for 15+ years. We need to praise our Military for keeping us safe.

Fix your bun like a real dine' woman, it shouldn't be hanging down like that.🤔🫢🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️. I remember Johnathan Nez's wife wearing her bun proudly, traditionally, & respectfully. Not no lazy bun. And also speak in the dine' language too, respect your people, culture, traditions and ALL your teachings.

As a Navajo first lady, wouldn't be nice to say something in Navajo language, same thing for Shone, otherwise it's great interview...
