Darth Xenos on their First Tour in the US only one of them spoke broken English. Of course now it’s a different story.

Does no surprise me.
Fun fact: Till in this live just put a little light in his mouth and you can see the tiny cable. But years before that he used to do the same effect by piercing a tiny tiny hole in his cheek and put the cable for the the light through it, thus being a way more convincing and badass effect.
EDIT: Don't know if he ever did it live but he at least did it for the music video of Ich Tu Dir Weh

He did do it live at the start of the tour but the hole in his cheek got infected and it hurt him too much to sing, so he switched to the cable going into his mouth instead for the rest of the tour, he explains it on the documentary that comes on the Rammstein in Amerika Bluray/DVD

It’s true, Rammstein is by far the best live experience you can get. I have seen them twice and been totally blown away. Last year in Stockholm was so good that I levitated almost. That was number one for me. The stage set was like a city from the future and the band is so tight and intense. Good reaction man. You must go and see them when this fucking pandemi is over. It’s a life changer 👍🖤
Once you have seen Rammstein live you immediately feel like you've been shortchanged by every other concert you've ever been to!
only band I can compare to them was Gojira and Rush (two very different bands), their stage presence along with Rammstein is unmatched

The s in Rammstein is pronounced like the sh in shoot. /'ʁamʃtain/ and Lied (=song) → "ie" is equal to "ee" in English /li:d/

Another way I've described the ie/ei thing for people that get them confused, the second letter is always what's pronounced.

An intro to what seems like the apocalypse, We hear once again hear Till Lindemanns beautiful yet dark vocal and then the shout of “Rammstein”. The rest of the band come into play into an epic adventure. “Rammlied” is the evil and better brother to the song “Rammstein”. Rammstein have finally made their return and they make sure everyone knows that with this piece.
In-freaking credible. No one being honest could deny they are masters of their craft. I go so far as to say even if their style of music isn't your cup of tea, you still have to acknowldge it. Luckily I absolutely love it. Just makes me sad I don't know german. But if direct download into my brain becomes a thing i know what i want to hear first.
It always makes me so freaking happy when people who don't know about Rammstein decide to check them out on a whim, and they come out of the experience awestruck and with nothing but respect for them.
What I find REALLY impressive is that the bassist is fret-picking with his left hand at the same time he's playing with his right. you can see it several times in the vid when they focus on him
People say Queen was the greatest live band of their day. Now...and for the past damn near 30 years...we've have Rammstein!

We are incredibly proud of our German boys. Rammstein polarizes everything they do. Their shows, the kind of their special music, are unique. We Germans celebrate you Americans for celebrating our band. I met Til at Rock am Ring. One can only have respect for him.

This is the song they opened their show with here in Australia. the entire stage was covered in a german flag, and when the bang happens it exploded at the top and pulled down to reveal them. it was so epic!

Each single member of the band Rammstein is a professional musician on his instrument (and others too). They found together in the 90s and are still together. For their live performances they were all educated in pyrotechnic.
I was at this show. We drove from South Bend, Indiana to New York City. This show sold out in less than 15 minutes. By the way they have 3 songs where the chorus is Rammstein over and over again. The reason it was tame performance wise is that was the opening song. The flames start about 6 songs in with the song Feuer Frei.

I've seen them four times now. The live show with the two podiums and a bridge coming from the roof is the best show i have ever seen. Mindblowing. The feeling of that evening gives me chills every time i think of it.

The way I understood it, in cases where there are two vowels in succession, the second vowel is what is vocalized. Not sure if that's universal or just applies to I and E in pairs.
@@morgfarm1 Well, like with the word "Feen" (fairies), it's pronounced (Fay-yen). Or another word like "paar" (p-ah-r; the 'r' pronounced in the back of the throat instead of the tip of the tongue). "Boot" (sounds as it's written).

I love Rammstein! And I've been lucky enough to see them perform live twice. Both times they were amazing.

I listen Rammstein in the secondary school (!) and the principal was our teacher. :D The first song I listened was "Mutter" (english "Mother"). This was a nice time and now I'm a metalhead - Visiting festivals and concerts every year with my friends.
Already with this teacher I get my first contact to medieval music like the german band InExtremo - Vollmond. I love it and I think you will also love this :-) bagpipes
Rammstein its an amazing live experience. I saw them In Monterrey, Mexico in a tiny arena and all the fire could burn my eyebrows. It was AMAZING!!!!

I believe you are incorrect. "Leid" is pronounced not with a long E sound, but with more of an I sound. Listen to the song "Herzeleid" off their debut album. Said like "LIGHT" not "LEED."

in Germany it seems to be a custom for bands to have at least 1 song referencing other songs of the band. Subway to Sally for example did it with their song "Das Rätsel (the riddle)" and Rammstein did it with Rammlied.
Also Rammstein has a song called "Rammstein" describing a tragic accident at the US military base placed in Rammstein, Germany.

Drummer was off the hook doing 5 and 6 on that base drum a til rips it. And me personally have seen them 3 times you have to go to one there's no words to describe it....
back in 1998 there was this rockn roll bar in my town and they used to play the rammstein aus berlin concert on tv sets on the walls. I remember sitting down and getting entranced by the guys in silver clothing,silver hair and the antics by singer till.the razor riff and gravel voice in dark brutal german was heavy asf! its like a leauge of their own! no american band can touch that. I guess its the dark past of germany that gives that viceral sting to it :O downloaded the albums on mp3 and blasted them in my car for weeks! :D
