NOTES:
1) VC injects count as Home Menu titles. You may have 300 Home Menu titles at one time, system apps do count, and folders don't change the limit.

I'd like to thank you for making so many videos on homebrewing the 3DS! Getting a used "New" (but it's used) 2DS XL as a birthday gift to myself. As a kid, a neighbor had Kirby Airride on the Gamecube and it was my jam. Haven't played it in over a decade, but I've got these videos bookmarked and the ROM already downloaded. Going on several long plane trips this month and I'll be more than prepared!

They're currently .CIA files if that helps at all

is NSUI the only way to custom set the game ratio (stretch, pixel perfect, etc)? I'm sure I'll get some hate, but like using the whole screen on handhelds ;) Or since it looks like retroARch can bezels be added?

Dang bro, precise and clean, been looking for a good program to make SNES cia files, one question tho, does the cia have all the virtual console features like the standard save states, the pixel perfect option, etc? Or is it like how it was with sonic the hedgehog that you demonstrated in video?

Hey Scott I did the following steps like you said but when I try to play gba games on my 2ds xl some of the top off the screen appears on the bottom

yo can u show how to get rom hacks to your homebrewed 3ds? Not like ctgp7 but like super Mario bros next and textures and stuff
NSUI is absolutely amazing. There's other stuff that it doesn't work with: Game Gear & PC Engine/Turbografx 16 are strangely listed in the options, but they're grayed out and don't work (they both have their own injectors). Also, there's no support at all for NeoGeo AES/MVS (which has its own forwarder) and NeoGeo Pocket/NeoGeo Pocket Color (which strangely doesn't seem to have a forwarder at all; this is strange because I HAVE Match of the Millennium: SNK vs. Capcom on my main screen of my N2DSXL...and I have several other NGP/NGPC games I want to be able to select from the main screen instead of using Twilight Menu++...)

Im trying to make the Shadowrun 1994 Sega genesis as a Cia file but every time I export it I get an error message that reads "Reult_error_During_process" the game is an "MD" file. Any tips? I get it from Cdromance but every Sega game is an MD file so I dont know how yours sega game is SMS file
It sadly doesnt work for the normal 3DS it says: this is new 3DS software.. Do you know how to solve this?

took me a sec to get the app working, for anyone else who wants to do this, if you have a anti virus like avg; turn it off so u can get on the app

Hello! How are you able to open up that menu to save/load states? When I tap the bottom screen it just reiterates to me that "closing the screen will not put the device to sleep" something along those lines...

Hey I ran the NSUI application once but now that I exited out and try to reopen it, there happens to be a configuration folder with all the files used to even run the NSUI application…
Is there a fix to this issue?
how do i do this with a homebrew game? I'm trying to use this to put the GBA flappy bird port on my 2DS home menu, but everytime i try to open it in the injector, it says the game cant be found in their database because its a homebrew game
Hey man i got a error. When i want to start the game it tells me; This is New Nintedo 3DS softwarw and connot be used on this system (I have a Normal 3ds) (and when I download the rom from my pc it wasn’t a SNES file but i tried it anyway to see if ir works and in the end it worked it made the file CIA and when i got on the FBI app the game was there i downloaded it and it appeared on my 3DS menu and when i want to start it it gives me that error. Is it probably because it wasn’t a SNES file from the beginning?
What happens if you dont download the patch

No, the save state option for GBA games does not appear on the bottom screen, do you know if there is any option to activate it?
How do I access the save files for the cias I just added? Need to import a save file 😅. Also do you not need the gba emulator on ur 3ds if I’m just gonna do cias for all of the gba games?

you can't. the 3ds barely runs nintendo 64 games.
