I don’t think they’ve broken up, they seem to just be taking a break to focus on their individual projects I think. Hopefully back with a new album once they’ve toured their solos!
I seem to remember reading that one of the members girlsfriends and mother to his kid was fighting cancer and ended dying. That have probabiy made a big reset for the band. That kind of experiences often change people.
Also his girlfriend died only days after their daughters 1st birthday, I remember my dad had to tell me
