Two years into taking clobazam, I started to not feel like myself. I feel as if I am just existing. I have moments where its as if someone just hit a reset button in my brain. Because I cant remember anything about the day(temporarily). And the whole time I have been on it, it never stopped a seizure. It just changed the way it happens. I know my triggers. Certain foods. If I avoid them, I don't have any seizures. But I am now weaning off the medication, because it caused my testosterone levels to become well below normal. For my age the normal range is 350 to 1100. My T level is at 21. I am now needing to use testosterone replacement therapy injections to get my levels back to healthy numbers. Hopefully once off this drug, my T levels with stabilize on their own.
@@unknownbeliever4660 I do eat heathy. Fruits, vegetables, nuts, fish, low carbs and plenty of water. Every day. And I don’t drink alcohol. So it’s not my diet. I also have a very physical job. So I get plenty of exercise. A friend of mine is on Xanax. Which is also a benzo. And he is having the same issue with his T levels. I had no issues until I started taking this medication.
Are you still on clobazam? If so, getting off it can only help you unfortunately, withdrawal from benzos is hell but there are many new techniques that have emerged to minimize benzo wthd symptoms and maximize recovery One is where, in an clinical setting, they pump you full of anti epileptics and administer a Powerful gaba receptor antagonist, gabaR antagonists work oppositely of benzos, this procedure cause your brain to regenerate damaged gaba receptors from chronic benzo use Another one is : it's not very official or recommended, it is managing the wthd yourself using various other medications that do not work on gaba receptors but manage the wthd symptoms One such medication is memantine, 40mg/day max in combination with 0.1mg.clonidine(this one is to only be used for a week maximum, it helps with sleep but can mess with blood pressure in long term) Memantine is recommended to be used for a couple of weeks to months until the point where wthd symptoms are benign, memantine doesn't have any wthd of its own and has been studied in alcohol wthd where it worked wonders, alcohol has similar mechanism to benzos As for epilepsy, use a modern anti-epileptic like levetiracetam since new generation anti-epileptic have fewer side effects It would be wise to consult with a doc, and btw, long term benzo use is likely to increase risk of neurological disorders such as dementia
@@abcd-xc9oo Fortunately no, I am no longer on clobazam. The main withdrawal I experienced was multiple auras daily. And one grand mal seizure. My new neuro recently put me on Briviact. I have not felt this normal in about 15yrs. Now I have no auras. No seizures. And all without a benzo. But thank you for taking the time to give me all of that information.
I'm taking Clobazam since 1 and half year. And later added Divalproex but my seizure never controlled and quit the divalproex and now taking Lacosamide with Clobazam but still my seizure hasn't stopped. My diagnosis was calciofied granuloma related to neurocysticercosis and left mesial temporal sclerosis. Now lost of hope my seizure will control with any kind of medicines. Only increasing dependency of benzo medicine. Now want to quit medicine.
i know Im asking the wrong place but does someone know of a way to get back into an Instagram account..? I somehow forgot the account password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
@Willie Elian Thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im trying it out atm. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.

Try Levitiracitum

2 times a day
Best medicine for seizures due to neurocystecercosis
Which is the most sedating of these four benzos?
There are more than four.
Midazolam is used in the death sentence protocol. Temazepam is the most sedating from my understanding. I could be wrong
I tore many ligaments and tendons due to benzos induced muscle weakness.
Same here and doctor said I have fibromyalgia. I believe this is damage because of long-term benzodiazepine use
@@uyoebyik I agree with you. I’m a long time user, and I suddenly tore ligaments and tendons.
