A friend of mine went to India for a trip and one night he decided to go out to get some food. He said everyone was looking at him like what you doing here white boy. Eventually, Indian police approached him and asked him for his passport and what hotel was he staying in. Then they told him well being really rude he has to go back to his hotel cuz they don’t want foreigners out past dark. If that happened in Canada to an Indian it would be the end of the world.
They do that because of robbery or kidnapping. You can only stay in government approved hotels too for foreigners since the police help

Meanwhile, India was always a very rich and nice land that throughout history attracted many people. Even the European age of exploration was started to find a sea route to India. Only after the British exploited India to the extreme that India deteriorated in the last two centuries.

People are not exaggerating the employment issue. I have witnessed several instances where supervisors from this ethnic group would intentionally undermine other groups of people, to push their own ahead, even when they were not qualified. This was in retail and manufacturing specifically. I understand looking out for your own, but when you are maliciously blocking a deserving person's livelihood based on them not being from your own race, people are going to be pissed. It's as if, as a society, we are regressing on some issues.

15yrs ago I applied for a trucking job in Brampton. I called them to ask if they got my resume. They said they did but I must speak Punjabi. I also seen this advertised at the time. I eventually moved.

True story. I tried helping a friend to come study from the Caribbean, met all the requirements.

It's because there's a government agreement in place. They know that the documentation is fake, yet still accept it. They then make leeway for them when it comes to the literary requirements so that you can be accepted into Canada. Even asylum seekers will come second to Indian immigrants due to this deal with the government. A taxi driver that's a friend of mine, showed me a number of videos of different Indian immigrants that didn't know the basics of basic English but had supervisor positions in fields that require them to deal with the general public.

Some of them dropped off school, not enough money to continue. After 30 years living there, I was in shock in 2014, to see how the demographics changed, for the good, NO, for the bad. The Indians have all the high tech companies there, last year, the us installed a bid one there, now they started to understand, they made a super big mistake, if these guy are running away for opportunities, because they are not what they thought they are, they are good students at school, but as Google researchers they don’t worth jack, they aren’t that smart. At the Silicon Valley, there is one who wants to establish a cast system, like in their country of origin, wearing a grey T-shirt, with a Elon musk’s picture and wants the police to give them protection all the time, it was so absurd, I don’t remember the nonsense. Lucky I have a place to go, I shut down my business, that Covid is still around, I get to be careful.

Truth, Somebody put a report together of the cities that applied for immigrant workers because they could not find people to do the jobs in their own city and lo and behold, it is the main cities of Canada nd then some. I can't that the report at the moment but i think was recently done. But there are people that want to work!. I an Indian born and raised in Canada (Hamilton) and am now over 40 and yes it's great there is more inclusivity but it's more the newer bunch that has been immigrating within the past 4 years, no respect or awareness of their surroundings, washing their feet, like really getting in there and scrubbing in an aesthetic landscaped stream for example. This is Canada and not India. Also, on the other end of things, many students are getting scammed from companies in India telling them all the right things, and that they will be taken care of, etc.. but when they come here, they are left to fend for themselves while the company takes all their money and runs. Corruption on all sides.. sad

When I went to Sheridan for both my programs, there was a whole big deal with the international students and cheating. They would sit together and mumble in their language and exchange answers during tests or individual assignments. After a few weeks, the teacher would then assign seating and knew exactly who to split up. That pissed me off because here I am busting my ass to get good grades, and they're blatantly cheating. The other thing that was kind of problematic was for group work, they didn't ever want to work with anyone who wasn't an international student. So trying to find a group to work with was made to be even more challenging. Eventually, the teachers would assign groups to force them to work with domestic students.
Its just crazy to me that you'd come all the way here to study, and risk getting your credentials over cheating.
Same here in Kitchener. Go to Conestoga College which had one of the highest admissions of international kids. They had to renovate one of wings on campus cause the stench in the vents were so bad.

To them cheating and plagiarism is seen as being "smart" if you can con or scam a situation in this regard academics that is seen as high intelligence to them. They are hard working doing studies and working hard for crap money . 4. After they graduate they should be offered citizenship. 5. Take it from me, the hiring is very much intentional. I reside in Brampton and have a lot of friends who are Indian and they complain about how their own people are messing things up for other indians and a large amount of Canadian citizens. As for them needing a job, Trudeau messed that up, because prior to him being PM all international students had very limited options for jobs, which could only be available on campus and a total of 30hrs per week. Now they are allowed to work anywhere for up to 70hrs per week. There are plenty of international students that are not Indian, who are being refused simply because they are not Indian. The banking system has negatively affected many people because they hire people who have no skills whatsoever, and a great deal of mistakes are made, which causes the customer to be penlized for something they didn't do, and when you ask to speak to a manager, the teller and the manager will speak in their own language so that you remain unaware of what they are saying. Most of the things I have mentioned, are complaints coming from members within their own community and they're fed up with their behavior.

Its not just against the black community I'm a white Italian and I've been treated pretty poor. They seem to act really snobbish over other black and white Canadians even though they’re literally the ones being given a chance in a developed g7 nation. Immigration is good but just to high. Reflex reaction I was going to argue but even from my limited experiences like working at Walmart it is predominantly Indian International students. I've had to fight just to get minimal hours or any hours at all- I've even had to go to Human Rights for help! When Canadians are sidelined at work and everywhere else becoming the new minority you know it's discrimination. It's so sad and discouraging to feel like a foreigner and outsider in your own country. Canada has always been about multiculturalism, but this is not it.

One really big problem is the identity of the country to where actual Canadian people don’t feel like they’re living in their own country and they feel like a foreigner in their own country
As a Canadian born black citizen, you are correct in noticing that the GOV has brought on over a Million people in 2 year with the largest swath from various tribes in India but India is also known around the world to be a country that practices something called a Braman cast system. In which the amount of melenation plays a role how SOME indian people will treat specifically black people. So when the Govenment floods a diverse country as Canada that includes black people of birth and immigration with an overwhelming number of Indians who mostly practice a cast system around black natives & black immigrants who are use to a diverse country. there's going to be additional issues that will arise and clashing is going to happen. As for me being a black born Canadian, I feel invaded by racists (And I know that not every Indian person supports or practices the Braman cast system.)but what type of indians are coming to Canada today are a new breed my well over 40 year old self has never experienced as I've gone to public school. I have had friends, acquaintances, interacted with people socially in the Indian community and I've only noticed in the last like 5, but specifically it blew up intensely in the last 2 years. There's the aggressive racism specifically from these new Indians coming here for so-called a better life. Through the various programs to the point. It is very noticeable and when I notice something. That means there's a problem because I just don't care. I don't move through my life observing other cultures. And doing a head count on how many of each ethnicity I see as I simply just don't care because I'm used to seeing everything And that is the beautiful uniqueness of a country like Canada. so to have this influx. Specifically, people from this area of the world. To the point where my eyes notice it and say there's something going on. But it's uncomfortable and then you have to deal with. I've always experienced the opposite. When people from other cultures come, they're trying to interact with other cultural groups. And then I think the other uncomfortable elephant in the room. Is that based on what the government did by taking off? The guard rails in regards to these various programs for work permits. They had a whole bunch of criminal element from India. Come in and other places as well. But India is only being discussed because they are visually more noticeable as being more here than other groups and there's a criminal element that has come in. I've had unprovocked experiences with the criminal classover a decade but on steroids in the last 2 years I've had them try to interact with me. I just keep to myself my own business. Because I don't know these people. You know, I haven't had good experiences so I don't really do a lot of trying to get to know them. Just because it's been more hostile than not. And I've had a lot of uncomfortable interactions being followed home by man of Indian culture. I've had groups of shifty looking men try to follow me while I was driving in my car. but it's very uncomfortable. So,I would say.
That the government needs to put a moratorium on every program and only complete the PR's that are already in the pipeline and let's do a reset for 2 year moratorium, so that we can have our economy correct itself economically, because unfortunately, it is actually 60%, temporary foreign workers that make up our current G.D.P and it's basically 30%-40% Canadians, so you know what happens when you remove? 60% from a 100. You gotta problem financially, so we need to reset our economy. I'm no economist nor rocket scientist, and how I understand it? If you want to do it correctly so you don't risk crashing your economy is that you replace your deceased and you bump up the number a small percentage on top to have stable growth. So you have the resources to support that introduction of people without causing dramatic inflation., but when you Ram over a million people plus in just 2 to 3 years it's going to have catastrophic consequences, so they've done a lot of damage and you know, people can't scam what the government does not allow to be scammed. So I put this solely. At the feet of the government, people are gonna do what they can do if they're a scammer and they see an opportunity. You know, there is no anti-Indian. Anything or anti-asian, it's simplyan uncomfortable noticeabl elephant in the room. We need to make sure that Canadians have jobs and Canadians are attended to first and everyone else who immigrates is in addition to us. So, thanks for the discussion. The honesty from people within the Indiany community learned on another video that the governt had opened up my industry to TFW's Which is the administrative assistants industry? I'm an executive assistant unemployed 2 and a 1/2 years, casualty of the pandemic because the government brought in 300,000 TFW's to work as admins. From reception all the way up to E.A's, hence, why I can't find any work in my field and can't pivot out as TFW's & LMIA's are in every industry. But it's a bit too late for the government to almost sudden realized the error of their decision to open the door to every one around the world without the resources and support systems in place to accomodate over a Million people in 2 years. I am from France and i saw differents disturbing things in Toronto:
- First on kijiji when I was looking for a place in some announce they put "indian girls only" or "indian vegetatian only"... this is discrimination.
- Second, a friend's colleague who is Nigerian wanted to rent a place in Brampton. Once the indian landlords see them... they said "the place isn't available" she discover after that it wasn't true.
- Third, a friend who is indian and working in a big bank here told me that in her team the manager hires only Asian (1 chinese and 5 brown) because she knows that they won't complain and there is also the respect of the elder. My friend want to work in a more diverse place because she said its like she quit the South of india to reach the North of the country".
But also we should remember that India itself is the most populated country and inside this country people from South are different than North (you can see the behavior here and sometimes is someone from North (the most common here) do something wrong, people tag them whereas they don't even speak the same language and have the same culture. There India, but also Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan ect. All "named ethnically by Brown" but differents culture.

I remember when I lived in Toronto working at a restaurant with a lot of new immigrants and finding out that many already knew how to game the system before they got here. They chose to be NFA even if they could afford a meager apartment or room to rent, go into the shelter system for a period of time and are then fast tracked to subsidized housing. Less than a year and they have a nice apartment paying only 1/2 to 2/3rds the market value for such apartment. This was in the 90's and now it's 100x worse. Crazy to think that an illegal immigrant gets supported by tax payer's money and many of us are barely surviving paycheck to paycheck, barely able to afford the rent ourselves.
The language difference can be dangerous at work especially if you're doing something like welding or construction. This is what i have to deal with at work smh

My child got covid or the flu last November, and we were all sick and extremely tired due to lack of sleep. We desperately needed rest because.....I have to go to WORK the next day to provide for my family. We FINALLY got into sleep, then.... BANG, BANG, BOOM, POP, BANG, BANG, BLAST, BOOM!!!!!!!! Fricking Indian blasting fire works IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD (not even their own back yard, or at the park), ON the road, opposite my house. WTF!?!? I was so furious, got my coat, walked over and said "is their anything wrong??? WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS????" They said it was their obscure holiday that nobody cares about, but even if it was on an national holiday, you DON'T BLAST FIREWORKS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FRICKIN ROAD, SO LATE AT NIGHT. W-T-F. They have no self-awareness, nor do they realized that they are the MINORITY in this neighborhood, and of course, they accused me of being racist for wanting to get a good night sleep.
