Flooding in the west means everything grinds to a halt.
Flooding in Pattaya means sitting on a tall seat and ordering another beer. 🤣🤣

the hot humid summer weather just ended here in Connecticut. I will be more tempted very soon to punch out and return to Pattaya for trip 16 and semi retirement. Gosh I so love just walking around there, something to see on every street. Food from all over the world so good. Foot massage. In past trips I got a little bored after two months, so not sure what I will do or how I will handle being bored when I stay three or four months or more. But my work motivation is running low

Nobody makes you bored, and no place is boring. If you're bored, it's because of one person. YOU.
If you can survive multiple years in shitty Connecticut, but you get bored in two months in Pattaya, then the problem is you.

Leave it up to manufactures to save a buck and pass the problem on to the consumer who gets to pay to repair it. Lucky for people who drive manuals who don't have that problem.
