the hot humid summer weather just ended here in Connecticut. I will be more tempted very soon to punch out and return to Pattaya for trip 16 and semi retirement. Gosh I so love just walking around there, something to see on every street. Food from all over the world so good. Foot massage. In past trips I got a little bored after two months, so not sure what I will do or how I will handle being bored when I stay three or four months or more. But my work motivation is running low
Nobody makes you bored, and no place is boring. If you're bored, it's because of one person. YOU. If you can survive multiple years in shitty Connecticut, but you get bored in two months in Pattaya, then the problem is you.
Any group of people that dedicated to having a good time and not letting ANYTHING stop (or "dampen," if you will) the party deserve a place like Pattaya. Can't wait to get back.
This is Soi Buakhao and Soi LK Metro, no where near beach road or walking street, if you would have read the discrimination instead of trying to disparage Thailand.
I was sitting in one bar during a flood like this and one Thai guy was going mental if a car went past too quickly and caused a wave to enter the bar. On one occasion he threw a bucket which hit the car. Very entertaining sitting there with a beer watching him.
@@thejourneyofraymond5752 lots of places across the country. nothing to do with the coast. lots of pattaya built on swamp same bangkok used to have lots of canals for drainage lots filled in for building hotels etc.
@@markthepunter1865 I feel badly for business and property owners affected. Gravity draining isn't working, they should design a pump station system like we use here in the west.
Pattaya "the world class resort" is the government's mantra. They've dug up the roads 4 times in 3 years to fix the storm drain system, yet?? So instead of water going down the drain its money up the food chain.
@@markthepunter1865 there is no storm drainage system inland connecting to the Beach road drain system they just put in . They need more drainage systems put in. Not less. You sound like a Trumper.
Its good to see the drainage system with pipes running off beach road into the sea is having the desired effect to keep the streets free from flooding "Not"!
Automatic transmissions get flood water in them from the breather stub on the transmission and ruins your transmission. Leave it up to manufactures to save a buck and pass the problem on to the consumer who gets to pay to repair it. Lucky for people who drive manuals who don't have that problem.
same here. flooding. its rainy season. but it will subside. rain is important for farmers. and water supply. to choose nature wrath.. id rather choose flooding than.. drought. .. same here in our country.
How the actual F does this keep happening year after year after year? The corruption and incompetence is staggering. Talk about loss of face. If they had any self-awareness they’d be embarrassed for themselves. Imagine walking with your wife and kids through that sewer like it’s normal. TAT sitting there scratching their heads wondering why tourists aren’t coming back.
You gotta be pretty hard core bar guy to have gone out in that rain. Jomtien was fine😀 Nobody seems too worried , keep the barbie going fellas even you're cooking knee deep in water. That's the spirit Thaiger🤣🤣🤣😂😂
Avoid going to Pattaya between October to mid November. That's is when raining season is at its peak. Streets flooded very quickly and cannot go anywhere
I feel so sorry for the tourists there at the moment. To pay all that cash and this happens however it's one of the risks you take if you book to go this time of year. Much better to go Dec-Mar By no means guaranteed but less chance
The reality in Pattaya is that from March 2020 they are doing and doing and digging and disrupting traffic on the streets. And the result when it rains is the same as before. Only now Pattaya has a lower number of farangs and most of the entertainment venues have been closed.
Have you been recently? Most entertainment venues, as well as new ones, are open! Obviously have fallen victim to the pandemic but that's the same the world over
Flooding in the west means everything grinds to a halt.
Flooding in Pattaya means sitting on a tall seat and ordering another beer. 🤣🤣
🤣😂👍🍻❤️✌️
Lol
Kon Thai have webbed feet! They are amphibians.
surrounded by flowing sewers.
Yep I was there and only a bit of water 🍻🍻
It's still better and more exciting than living elsewhere!
I love pattaya... people there are like "i don't care if i have to swim to the bar, I'm going"
They will just say its just a little rain ☺ knee deep water but still little rain so business as usual.
Hahaha
I also will go to clubs
I love pataya after watching this. Baby where is my ladyboy🤣🤣🤣
0:45 - That's a keeper!🥰
1:45 - HER, as well! 🥰 , real trooper!
I see a little flooding doesn't stop the night life from continuing with business as usual.
Amazing that no one's electrocuted with the state of the wiring
Is beyond belief for me also !!!
Thailand man. Safety fifth
@Zach zachary LOL
Most of it is fiber optics
Effects of climate change
The can-do spirit of the Thais is amazing.
Another shtty rainy day in Pattaya Paradise, Rainy season every year and the Thais carry on regardless. Beautiful.
Nice footage of huge flood in Pattaya. Well documented. Tnx4sharing 👍
Good to see everyone carrying on working and/or enjoying themselves
😅😂
America and Europe needs all that damn rain
I'm so sorry about Flood.😫😩
This is the Real Adventure experience in Pattaya Thailand. 🙏🙏🙏
The only shocking thing about this video is that they didn't have anyone offering gondola taxis. Come on guys, step it up! 😉
You would think the Seadoo scammers at the beach would be all over this

Break up your itinerary visit other places, boredom is a state of mind...
Hire a harem of women to entertain you.

Sewer, fuel and who know what else is in that flood water.
and probably all streams to the sea
Be careful of the open drains walking around in it especially if you’ve had a few
Thanks for the warning. Bringing snokel and fins😅
how is it flooded like that? isn't the place next to the beach?
BEST video from PATTAYA, extremely FUNNY....Thanks...
Is it still like this in 2023 i was planning on going to Pattaya in 2 months September 20, 2023 should I not lol ?
Is this the rainy season?
on which moth was this? When is a good time to travel to Thailand without ever having to face this?
what bacteria is floating in that water?
bahthysteria ?.
Thanks for sharing. A friend is staying in the city, from their balcony it looked bad. I'm so glad i'm not in the city.

OOOOO oleh ? is a bad month ?....don't go until end of year ?
The hell with this water we gotta keep the party going 😄
I am surprised that no one who lives hear has had the bright idea to by a ocean going "WAVE RUNNER" to use during these floods---make great taxi--
Which time it starts to rain at 04.09.22…? Anyone can tell me?
Mother nature's way of washing the streets. Thanks for showing us that 👍❤🙏
I'm going to Pattaya in 2 days. Glad I packed my swimming trunks.
Oh another boat trip around LK Metro. Cheers.
Great video thanks for sharing.
Floods in Thailand look absolutely brutal
I see all the extra drainage work they done over the past few years on Beach Rd and Walking st is working a treat..............

that seems to be a bit more water level than I recall seeing in years past. Must have been quite a deluge.
Wow, that's crazy. Place is flooded out and people are still going out to go drink
Yeah, great isnt it 🍺🍺🍺🍺
very good video. impressively 👍👏
So much for all these new storm drains!

I just left pattaya on Sunday afternoon. Was sunny. I got out just in time!
A never ending problem in Pattaya
This is scary what time of year do they get lot of lightning and rain ? I wonder if travel there cheaper during storm season for when I go lol
you should put the date of issue of the video. How will people know when did Pattaya get flooded.
Very good video, thanks
Is it today ??!!
It soon disappears, this happened yesterday (sunday) it will be clear now and business as usual.

Nice One, Thank You ⛱⛱⛱
Careful you don't damage the jetski
Omg really in pattaya??
Yuk, garbage, sewage, human & animal waste mixed with the rain water
Love the "sorcerer's apprentice" at 8:12 mins
We have yearly songkran festival and also flooding festival in Pattaya. Very interesting place to visit.🏄♀🚣🏊🏊♂🏊♀🚣♂

It is not that simple. Some areas are below sea level. Then only powerful pumps can help - if they are available AND work 🙏🙏🙏
Where is the floating motorcycle that can go on land and water
OMG so much flooded

Yeah MT seems quite popular here. A wise choice
Ahh Pattaya...went there ro get scuba license. Didn't have time to walk around..looks like Khao San rd anyway.
why are people walking around in this? Its going to be contminated with sewage from the sewers overflowing.
Living the dreams for all westerners.
They love it! Everyone is already living the dirty life so this is nothing new.
A little rain cannot stop the mongers
It came in pretty quick and people needed to get home I suppose
Too many singhas lol
I love this💕
Diluar banjir...dalam bilik pun banjir👌👌👌
I love the Thai people.... There's a 3 foot flood... "You're still gowing to work! "
Despite the flood, it looks like it's business as usual. That's not stopping anyone.
The show must go on. :)
June to October months are very difficult for Thai people and most of tsunami come in these months 🙏
OMG
I'm going next week, hopefully it'll be fixed by then lol
Don't worry the water will go as soon as the rain stops

yes it can ..some bars & restaraunts get their floors washed ?.
Typical Pattaya. After a big rain it always floods ! The Drains are useless 🤪🤪🤔😱
The shit river has overflowed.
Oh my LORD please save Pattaya Thailand
This when you get out your jetski, shout "1000 baht long time" until a lady gets on, and chill in the hotel for the rest of the night
Gosh .. how can it be like that situation?
Never seen it quite that bad. Night in then 🤔.

It is even coming through LK and it's higher there.
It was horrible I couldn't get home for hours

There are 3 seasons in Thailand: Hot, Hotter and Underwater.
You would think by now they would have a up to date infrastructure so the water would drain faster
