Hooray for small businesses! Thank you for your ongoing support Leah, I look forward to seeing your next H&C project. Some excellent progress on the mermaid, I’m very impressed when anyone has the patience to do such a ma-hoo-sive stitch! How many stitches on that Dimensions kit that Graham will be doing next? It’s a beautiful design, and definitely giving winter vibes! 😍
Thank you for watching as always Lucy! And you’re welcome, you know I’m your number one fan! It has been quite impressive to do something so big, it definitely requires patience 😂 So I think we figured out there’ll be 50,000 stitches on the Dimensions kit! Just a small amount 😅 it’s so gorgeous in real life so far!
Once again some really lovely work impressed so funny you shared the fish and chips storey I'm sure you can share it again after we have been back 22 solicitors and I'm sure we can't just pass bells so sorry you did make me laugh xx
Nice to catch up with you this morning, love the new thumbnail, well done on the weight loss and loving the Love Poppet finish and you seem so much happier on this video! xx
Now I’m torn, I wanted to congratulate Graham for only having the back stitching to go. But after that fish and chips story….. 😂 Thank you for another fun flosstube my friend! I will miss seeing you twice a month, but completely understand!
No do not congratulate Graham he is a bad bad man 😂😂 I’m so glad you enjoyed the flosstube Katie! I can’t wait to catch up with yours when I’m off next week! ❤️
It doesn't matter what people think about your posting you just do you. It will be just more to look forward too. Self care needs to come first. Us groupies will always be there ready to tune in lol 😂😂
Thank you!! I just feel so bad because I said I wouldn’t do this, but it’s for the best and it means you all get the best of me rather than a rushed video! You’re so lovely, you’re cheered me right up about the decision xx
Hi Leah, You need to do what’s right for you. Lots of flosstubers only post once a month anyway. You’ll still be posting more than I do (which is not at all!) 😂 I enjoyed and appreciated your magazine flip throughs but I wasn’t tempted to rush and out get CS as it just doesn’t have much content that I like (and I already subscribe to WOCS). Your Love Poppet finish is gorgeous! I’m stitching my Christmas cards in hand at the moment and I don’t like it either. I’m stitching them on one large piece of aida so I’m not sure why I’m doing it this way but there we go! 🤔😂 I am excited to see that Graham will be stitching a Dimensions kit! They’re my favourite brand; I know they’re a big company but their kits are fantastic and look amazing when they’re completed, the detail is great. I have this one in my stash - I love it! Im looking forward to seeing his progress. I’m very impressed that Graham stitches, cuts hair and frames your cross stitches by the way (looks at my husband who has nothing to do with my stitching at all - he’s even told me not to ever bother stitching anything for him! 😱). Let’s ignore the fish and chips 😂 I’m glad to hear The Housemaid was good; I bought all three in The Works recently. I normally read on my kindle paperwhite but I do like to read a physical book every now and again. I’m a fan of John Marrs; I’ve read his books ever since he published his first one. I’m currently reading a book by Mark Edwards who I also enjoy reading.
Hi Nicola, Thank you so much for watching! Thank you for your kind words, you’re right there’s even some flosstubers who only post once or twice a year so I’m still putting up consistent content and it’ll work well for me for the moment! Thank you for your kind words on my Love Poppet finish, it was a beauty to stitch. Oooo do you stitch your own Christmas cards? I love that idea! I wish I had more time to do something like this. I completely agree about stitching in hand, it’s so confusing I find! I’m so excited to get myself a Dimensions kit having looked at the pattern and floss. I think it may be my next big project (when I get rid of the ones I have 😂😂). Graham is very multi-talented I must say and he loves knowing about my stitching and stuff. We’ll have to start a petition to get your husband to agree to accept a gifted stitch! 😊 The Housemaid was soooooooo good, I’m so excited to read the other two. I love The Works, we’re going next week and I’m so excited and I’m so glad to be back into reading again! Xx
@@leahscrossstitchcorner I stitch Christmas cards some years, not every year. A couple of years back I stitched some really cute penguin ones by Riverdrift house and this year I’m stitching rainbow Christmas trees - actually using some patterns from WOXS! 😱😂 I meant to stitch them last year but couldn’t manage it along with my Hubble SAL so this year I’m prioritising them - and stitching them in August to make sure they get done 🤣 I have two more trees left to stitch! I’m quite glad he’s honest in saying that he wouldn’t appreciate getting a cross stitch as otherwise I’d have even less time to stitch everything that I want to 😂 Thanks for the case by the way - it’s gorgeous ❤️ (I did send a message) xx
Hi leah, I can understand why you need to do your video once a month, it gives you more time to catch up on your stitching especially when your working as well, and less stressful, I love the mermaid and look forward to seeing it when finished, the Dreaming Summer stitch along is beautiful might have a go of that myself , take care Leah and if I need a hair cut I'll make an appointment with Graham, 😅 look forward to next month and thankyou once again for the lovely video, enjoy your weekend 😊
Hi Pauline, thank you for your support! I think one video per month will work for now until I have more time and that’s the most important thing! It’ll definitely free me up to stitch a little bit more especially as that’s at a premium now too!! I would definitely recommend the Dreaming of Summer SAL, it stitched up so very well! Graham has said if you pay him in fish and chips he will come and do your hair! 😅😂 I hope you’re keeping well Pauline xx
So lovely to see your flosstube You always cheer me up! Love your finished project! The colours are so good! Love bright colours! I’d love to do a mermaid but I’m not experienced enough yet Had to smile when I saw you had the same seahorse needle minder as me I will miss seeing you twice a month but it’s good that you are putting your own health first See you in September
Thank you Patricia! 😊 Aren’t the colours gorgeous in the Love Poppet SAL? I was obsessed while stitching! I would 100% recommend doing a mermaid - don’t even worry that you’re not massively experienced, take it a little bit at a time and it’s honestly so lovely! Graham has done the Chopping Mall by Witchy Stitcher as his first stitch! His motto is go big or go home 😂😅 The seahorse needleminder is one of my favourites! See you in September Patricia xx
Hi Leah, hope you and Graham are well. Loved the video like always. I totally understand why you’re only doing one video a month from now on and I will continue to watch you because you’re fantastic. The cross stitch Graham has chosen is beautiful and i can’t wait to see his progress on it when he gets it started. All is well here, been doing a little bit of stitching, mainly Mill Hill’s as I quite enjoy them. Like you I love to read, I’ve been reading Brida by Paulo coelho and it’s brilliant. Will look forward to your next video, also well done on your slimming world progress. As I said before I’m doing the same, I’ve lost 5lb so far and can really notice it in my arms! Can’t wait for it to start showing in my legs 😂 Thanks for updating us on your progress. Hope you have a great month. Sending love to you all. Michelle.
Hi Michelle, Thank you for watching as always!! We’re doing well thank you, how are you? I’m so thankful for your support Michelle, you are so lovely! Isn’t the cabin beautiful? I wanted to stitch it myself but hey! It saves me a job and frees me up for a different start! The bonus of having two stitchers in the family!! Do you know, I’ve never done a Mill Hill kit. I may have to try one, I think it would be handy to try beading as I know they have beads in don’t they? We are so similar aren’t we? 😊 I’m loving getting reading in, it makes all of the difference and really helps the mental health, same as stitching! Well done on your 5lb loss, that is amazing! 👏🏻 🤩 I’ve noticed it in my mid section, and I’ve fit into a ‘large’ T-shirt without it feeling too tight so I’m buzzing! I hope you’re well Michelle, sending love xx
@@leahscrossstitchcorner Hi Leah. You should definitely try a Mill Hill kit, they are fun to do and they have some really fun designs I love the Halloween ones. I love reading to escape from reality, it’s so relaxing and really gets your imagination going. All is good here, trying to stay focused on my crafts and work hard to get healthy. Making healthier choices seems quite easy but it’s actually quite expensive all this healthy food 😂 plus trying new recipes. My kids don’t like it very much, they say just cause your on a diet doesn’t mean we are mum 🤣 Hope you and Graham have a great weekend xx
Hi Helen! Graham’s betrayal will live long and hard in my mind 😉 He’s going again next week! *sigh* I wish I could stitch in hand - it would make some bits easier if I didn’t have a frame on but I find it so hard to hold it! It’s what I love about stitching - we all do it in different ways and it’s comfortable in different ways too!
Sorry iv miss a cupal of your videos just that I hade bad news found out my dad hade cancer and it's spread all over he all so has alzheimers and dementia so iv not been my self and iv been trailing a lot to see him 😊
❤❤❤
