Personally was only picking up the faint cucumber scent from the extract which was a bit of a bummer for me. Not a bad smell or a bad product, just expected more. Good review.

Could you compare it with other matte pastes/clays (Arcadian, O'douds, Nostalgic, Daimon Barber...) in terms of hold, strength, control, endurance and finish ?

Have you check antigravity, can't wait to see what's your opinion about it? i just use it for the first time and for me the scent is great but little to strong, scooping is nice but when i warm it in my hand it feel to dry for me so the application is have a little tug and pull, hold and endurace is great.

What beard balm is your favorite or do you even use one.
Depends on what mood I’m in. I usually use oil more. But I like Brattleborn oil and balm for lighter stuff and Pompkings beard food for a heavier balm
The anti gravity is my first paste. I have super thick hair and really unruly. My only complaint about the paste is it has a tug and pull. Very hard to restyle thats why i use oil based pomade hahah

The Workman's Pomp hey i used conditioner in shower and also Olive Oil (like a tbsp) , and then just washed with water. Then i added paste to the oily hair after it was towel dry and it holds amazing and gives a killer shine!!! Olive oil in the shower is my all time fav
Ever consider trying out a disconnected undercut style? It makes styling so easy because you never have to worry about your sides sticking up, plus it just looks killer. I’d suggest trying it out, and if you don’t like it,the sides will grow back out within like a month. Just a suggestion :))
That’s a good idea, I might try it when I go in for a touch up this summer
Hey Brandon, in the intro / skit for this video. What product did you have in your hair? Was it Nevermore? It looked like a shiny Oil-Based was in it
I can’t remember but it was probably oil. I always grease up when I play Chauncey!

Does it harden?
If you use extra water after applying I find that it will harden a bit. If you use it in damp or dry hair it sets but stays workable

Just got 2 cans of it. More of a curiosity. I'm a grease guy .
I want to buy this but I'm not sold on the smell, and on top of that I've had some issues with Lockhart's recently. Like the older Lockhart's scents stayed all day but the new tins just smell like lanolin after 15 minutes or the smell changes into something nauseating
This stuffs smell stays in the hair for most the day. It’s not really aggressive and when you wash it out your dry hair smells like it.
The Workman's Pomp you never said how it smelled in the video, sometimes the description doesn't match how it smelled in the tin and your hair. So what's your opinion on it?
To me it smells like a cologne and floral scent with cologne being more prominent. The Lockhart’s didn’t make the scent, Mike brought in another guy to do it. Most of his scents smell like cologne mixed with floral undertones.
Deffective Doggo it smells really fresh for me, I have a scent allergy so scents that don’t make me choke are big in my book haha. It’s got a cologne type feel to it but it’s still fresh smelling and cooked in it’s really nice cuz you don’t get any of the ingredient smell. You can’t really judge this one on the same level as the other Lockhart’s releases since it’s really different than anything else he’s put out.
