Smoker sometimes runs 2 Jack which does help against doffy if doffy's early game is slow and 8c Sabo which removes two bodies on the same turn, which can easily be two doffy bodies since its a 5c and 3c and Smoker leader or Brook can do -1. Also runs Borsalino which inherently makes taking 5k swings from Doffy safer.
My one gripe about this video- you have the tiers as S, A, B, etc. but continue to interchange it with numbered tiers... just a good idea to remain consistent with how you're presenting it.
They mentioned in English we're at the start of the op09 meta in which idiots can win with blackbeard because no one has tested against it. Give it a month and BB Will Very likely drop to A
17:04 i have been doing some enel tech (im that enel expert at my locals) ive found braham is quite good right now as you can bottoum there stage and they have one on board their burgess. i do still think once the killer 2k from op10 comes out we dont need braham anymore as killer makes the blackbeard matchup way easier.
i did face black beard last weekend with my green uta . it was as u said , my opponent had to use everything he had in hand every turn . it's been close but he won . playin from graveyard is so powerfull late .
I think you should reconsider Moria and Rebecca I’ve been testing them both out and have had good success into doffy high rolls and they have a favored BB matchup. Idk if it’s just my build but it feels like they can be good meta calls.
I agree, Moria is insanely understimated, has a positive matchup vs the top tier decks and has a good shot against doffy Insane value, moria cycling, big bodies removal every single turn and very aggro early game with hand disruption Personally haven't lost to a single Blackbeard yet, playing two copies of Jack and Kaido from OP08 which have been key to solve the new matchups
Bonney is a solid check to Blie Doffy since it's very hard for Doffy to get around with Bonney's powerful wall of blockers, especially with the Kid + Hawkins set up. It also doesn't help that you still have to be careful when swinging with Bonney's Leader effect in mind. I've heard that Enel is kinda tough for Blue Doffy, but I could be wrong.
BB is so overhyped lmao, every deck now knows how to deal with that. Purple has the 2cost event, bad matchup vs Shanks and red decks. Definitely not tier S

People are underestimate Gecko like it's a crime to the deck. This deck has the more consistency and versatility in any deck. It's also the most conplicated deck to play by far when you have 6 options to use each turn to bring vlback with Gecko.
Is there a server where I can money match people? To be honest I could beat all the deck with Gecko with ease. I play on the ladder with a 80%win rate and if I play online Im going to rarely lose a game maybe 1/10 playing s to c tier deck.

Testet Blackbeard alot, more than last at A Tear never.. so many Decks can outperform him, but the flavour is unmatched 😢
