140$ is crazy but I love the ship, I’m prob gonna get it soon because I’m guessing if the show is well received more ppl will buy it. I also love all the figs & interior, feels we rarely get interior in ships for playsets nowadays. Also this is just super different from the usual Star Wars drops. Thanks for the detailed review
My pleasure. Please let me know if you end up getting it. I'd like to know what you think. The minifigs are really nice and you're absolutely right, it's much different than the usual Lego Star Wars releases. Thanks for commenting and keep me posted.
@@GoodLifeBricks update: just placed my order for it!! Been enjoying the show a lot so far all 3 episodes have been great. Each of the characters in the show are great too and I havnt gotten annoyed at anything while watching, like most younger-audience targeted shows. I do wish Lego made a slightly bigger model after seeing how huge it is, but I also understand that would have been risky since this dropped months before, and kids will definitely want this ship/figs after watching. Maybe if the show continues to do super well and we got another season we could see a UCS of this years down like the razorcrest got an upgrade. Love this ship a lot
@@vuseingtoncity oh man, I would absolutely jump at the chance to get a UCS Onyx Cinder. They could do so much with a nice sized UCS set. Let’s make it happen! So glad you made the purchase. I think you’ll love it. Can’t wait for another update.
I completely agree. The attention to detail and the focus on durability which then provides even more detail is the biggest difference between the Lego of today and the Lego from back in the day. Thanks for watching snd commenting.
I never even thought of that. Of course you’re right. Thank you for pointing it out. I almost made the same mistake in my 2024 Star Destroyer review which comes out soon. Than you for the comment. That’s super helpful.
Just finished watching the show and this ship is huge. They now have the specs online and it is about 55 meters long or 185ft about. Larger even than the Ghost.
@ I enjoyed that too. It’s kind of like a much larger cantina scene. So many various species and activities to see. Episode 2 was a ton of fun. We are off to a good start. Tuesday can’t come fast enough.
@@GoodLifeBricks yes. I love a space station that just feels "alive" with so much going on. I would love to see sets that show that. Even if they made them not super large.
The plate on the hinge on the back is probaly there just for the angle, not to open it it up. Just saw the 8 episode's what were released untill now, the build does justice to the serie. Lovely set, the minifigs are nice aswell.
@@arnoldwaasdorp269 good call on that plate. I didn’t think about that. Thanks for contributing and commenting. Do you like the series? I think the set is awesome. The Minifigs are excellent too. The quality of the series makes the set even better.
No, that's the best part. Now, I will say that on occasion Lego's instructions aren't completely clear but I've found that when I use the Lego Builder app, generally it's a better experience and I can see everything a bit better on a big iPad screen. I can even pinch and zoom. On their newest sets the occasionally have the ability to rotate the pieces on the screen so you can see them in more detail. I love building Lego Star Wars sets.
@@ilotefft2526 I actually did. It was one of my first shorts. If you look at my videos and click the shorts tab then scroll down to October 24th it was titled Lego Star Wars Instruction Manual or Lego Builder app.

It’s actually live action and it’s a lot more like some of the great 80s movies like Goonies, ET and others. It’s an adventure with kids. Many were afraid it would be a kids show. While it is family friendly, it’s not just for kids.
