the problem I run into is the 2nd top stitching where i cannot get to the same spot as the other side because of the zipper & bag being joined together? any tips?
Since the bag was so small I didn’t add the side panels on this one. However you could easily cut pieces like we did for the binding and attach them onto the binding to create those side panels! Sorry for not getting that part recorded in this tutorial 💛

What size needle
I usually am using a universal needles unless I’m working with knit fabric then I use a stretch needled
