had two iphone 5c's one with a broken screen and one that got fried by falling in water. I swapped the screen from the one with water damage and it worked perfectly. Just be sure to connect securely the 3 seperate pin connectors leading from the screen to the body. Thanks for posting the vid

No you can use a paper clip or the tool that came with the iPhone and just un bend the paper clip and there's a small hole in the right side of your iPhone, put the paper clip (or tool) in there and it will open up and there's the SD card.
