As someone who isn't really big on having a typical "rainbow collection", this is the first "rainbowish" set that I actually want! Perfect level of brights for someone like me and i think many of them will actually look nice with some of the colors I have from the Down to Earth collection.

I think a gradient from black to a rock candy finish at the tips would look cool. You could even add a French mani tip in white under the gradient to really make it pop!

The box is so pretty! Mine is getting delivered in two days and I can’t wait! I need Sugar Rush on my nails right away! It reminds me of one of my favorite China Glaze polishes, White Cap, but prettier!

I didn’t always love the crushed holo formula - but this set with Spyglass have sold me! That added shimmer gives it that oomph!!

I'm really curious if this is the eventual reworking of the gemstone collection Cris mentioned like 2 years ago. Initially she said she had the gemstone collection ready to go, but bumped it from one of the years' lineups, I want to say 2022? I've always wondered what finish the gemstone collection might have been. Rock candy has ruby, topaz, sapphire, amethyst and emerald. Or maybe the gemstone collection is deeper crushed holos and we still haven't seen it? IDK I've always been curious about this.
I gotta get this collection asap, this collection over one coat black is gorgeous 😍😍😍

I did buy Pop Rocker, Electric Sweetner and Sugar rush and they look stunning. I am on the fence if I should buy Sour note, Jam session and Blue Rizzler at this stage. The whole collection looks stunning but it was the cost for me that has me on the fence.
I ordered the pink blue and purple.

I often find my top coat brushes off some of the color underneath. How to I prevent that from happening?

I need a crash course on the different formulas and what they mean xD like what does micro-shimmer mean? What's the difference between jelly and creme? I have no idea
Maybe I can help you out? 😊 micro-shimmer means the polish has a lot of really small bits of glitter that catch the light and shine. A creme are your regular polish and jelly are a more transparent formula that you need to build up, but it allows e.g. holo to shine through the layers.
Does Holo Taco ship to Singapore? I really like your nail polish line and have been watching your videos since voiceover days.
Is there any NON STAINING Emerald and Sapphire polishes? I'm tired of having to deal with the stains!

Hmmm, is Holo Taco running out of ideas? Some of the recent collections look just slightly different than some of the previous ones.. Unless you are a collector, what incentive do you have to buy a pink that has a purple shimmer in it if you already have a pink with a normal shimmer/holo in it? I am genuinely curious, not trying to hate here, I just rly dont see that much of a color difference to get motivated to pay such a steep price + shipping for these :(
Well, there are only so many colours! It's nice to have variations of similar ones sometimes as even subtle changes in tones and styles and make different polishes more appealing to different people. 😁 I don't buy most of the boxes but try to get the ones I like the most from each collection 💖
I always wait to see the comparisons for this reason. I usually wait till the Black Friday Sale to make a bulk purchase for the year. That way I know if I really want the polish and to know a which shade/formula I want if a similar one come out.
Unless it’s a limited edition polish then I might buy it. but just a little advice, I know I will miss out on boxes but it saves my wallet and collection space in the end
I don't think so. I think it's more a matter of there are only so many colors, so there really is a finite number of things that you can do. Also figure she takes feedback from the fan base, and is giving them what they want. People have been begging for a crushed holo rainbow since the Barista collection came out.
I am in the royalty tier and I literally already have a holo taco polish in every single one of these colors. And I like the ones I already have better. Also the shimmer is kind of dull, sadly I am let down. I hope the next collection is better.
Honestly I really like this set... but, I'd have liked to have just seen the Unicorn Skins reformulated to a smaller grain pigment and have true crushed holos. That's one of my fave formulas. This just doesn't hit the same as Highest Bidder/Barista Box did, and I'd love to have those nano shimmers for layering over EVERYTHING instead of pre-included in the polish.
I don't think she's run out of ideas, but I do think she's had issues with suppliers getting or being able to keep pigments for some of her more complex ideas.
The colors are so nice! But the. The box is REALLY ugly - I’m so sorry, Cristine! But the box is your first ever Fail imo 🙂
