No-Bake Malteser Squares | traybakes & more

How to make No-Bake Malteser Squares. Another classic, no-bake, Northern Irish traybake. A simple mix of Digestives and Maltesers with melted chocolate, butter and golden syrup. (Graham Crackers and Whoppers can be used if you live in the US!)
Ingredients
4 oz/110g butter
8 oz/225g chocolate, I used milk
8 oz/225g Maltesers (Whoppers)
8 oz/225g Digestives/Graham Crackers, crushed
3 tbsp golden syrup (or honey/maple syrup)
6 oz/175g white chocolate, to cover

Love all your recipes Caley. I'm from Scotland but live in Minnesota, my colleagues are loving the tray bakes, mint aero is the fav so far. I do get frustrated with the parchment paper, do you buy already sized ones? Been looking on Amazon and not sure if any good.

Hello! Honestly, I'm not great with the parchment. Most of the time I just press it in and hope for the best! Or else I cut two strips and lay one vertically and one horizontally. Glad you're enjoying the traybakes, I find that they go down very well with my American friends.

Can we make this in a 9 x13 tray?

The ingredients listed are for an 8x8 tray, so you would need to scale up the recipe for a larger tray, or else the resulting traybake would be a little thin.
