I don't know why I love these so much. Whenever I see Nigeria, it is always Lagos; it is good to see other parts of the country, too! The open drains are interesting; do they ever overflow? Does anyone ever fall in? I would fall in for sure, hahaha! Thanks for sharing with us ☺
I enjoyed the sights and sounds... I have questions: Does anyone ever fall into the roadside ditches - is that a common accident? Also at around 6:15 there is the wall of a building that has some vertical features painted blue, yellow and pink - are these purely decorative or do they serve some purpose?
Very interesting! I think much of the reason I spend so much time on RUclips is that I love seeing other parts of the world. I have a few questions - there are tall poles, initially (:30) like a T but with the vertical pole off centre. Later in the video similar poles seemed to have street lights attached. Is that what they are - street lighting? You've mentioned the problems with power outages; are the bars at the top some kind of solar panel? Also right at the beginning on the right side was a board advertising training something that looked like "future comforters" If I didn't get that right, what are they offering training for? I'm guessing the "POS" at a couple of locations means "point of sale", perhaps for internet or phone time. Near the end you passed a house on the left with people singing inside - a school? Maybe a church? There was a boy entering wearing some kind of robe that could have been academic or religious.

They almost look like they might have been solar powered till the pannel on top was broken or stolen.

I'm sadly surprised at the litter, especially in the drains alongside the road, Babatunde. 😢
Babatunde himself walked past a plastic coke bottle without picking it up. So, they obviously have no pride in the place!
@@mrplod1616 He was filming so I wouldn't have expected him to be picking up litter.
Why do people throw rubbish and litter into the drain & gutter of the street?
I think you need too rethink your videos because literally nothing happened in this video, I expected more from you
Thats why its called Slow TV, nothing is supposed to happen
It's slow TV and there's lots to see, anyway! Babatunde does it so we can ask questions, which inevitably we always do! 😊
