I would put Curry over Lebron in the GOAT conversion. It's Curry humbleness, hunger, and heart for me. Imo Curry revitalized the NBA unlike any other person before him.
It was my then 11-yr old daughter who got me into watching the NBA because I thought it was too physical for my taste. But when I saw her cheering so passionately for Steph that she made it into the high school basketball varsity team, I got intrigued and eventually hooked. Watching SC30 and GSW made my life easier... happier. Now that my kids are grown, I made a decision to move to the states, specifically in San Francisco, rented a studio apartment 10 minutes away from Chase Center just to be able to see their games whenever I can. Crazy? Yes 💛💙
this video is honestly just beautiful.. as much of a shame it is that it took curry to carry the usa to the gold in 2024 for a lot of ppl to FINALLY realize his greatness, i'm glad that this mindset shift is here at all 🙏🙏it's the perfect cherry on top of his already illustrious career where he even got the haters to finally acknowledge him 🐐
Curry is the reason I came back to basketball after the soul crushing disappointment of warriors ownership breaking up we believe for scrap and a couple packages of cheetos. He was fundamentally different than any other NBA player I had ever seen, both in his skill, his dribbling, his shooting, his off-ball movement, his impact on everything, and the incredible Joy he played with. Personally, I put him over magic because magic walked into one of the best situations of point guard could possibly have walked into with an at the time top three player in Kareem, and like three other Hall of famers his rookie year. Then the team went on to get, what, another two or three number one draft picks? The other reason is that Curry has a dominant, even overwhelming record in the finals against the consensus second best player of all time. And the fact that LeBron James himself said his victory against the warriors is what made him the goat. His victory was all bs of course because he depended on an ex post facto suspension of Draymond, but hey. Unfairness, League tampering, and b******* refereeing are part of the game unfortunately. When Curry is gone, I'm not sure I'll keep watching.
This is why I believe Steph is > Magic all-time. Steph is something we have never seen before. Whereas, we’ve seen another Magic in Lebron, a better version in fact. And the fact that Steph has been the perfect foil to Lebron, much like Bird-Magic, it’s just little more balanced at 4-4 vs 5-3 in terms of championships. Sprinkle in the magical heroic moments we all witnessed at the Olympics, and ladies and gentlemen we have a top-5 player all-time in Curry.
I agree that Steph is better but the argument that Steph is something we’ve never seen before but Magic isn’t doesn’t make any sense. Magic was something nobody had ever seen before when he entered the league, and multiple players have modelled their game based on him. One of them being Lebron, some 20 years later. In 20-30 years we might see someone model their game after Steph and be better.
I'm happy you're accepting Steph Curry's greatness. That is what everyone does. There are videos of Magic Johnson reconciling with Isiah Thomas. Also the wonderful story/video "Magic & Bird: A Courtship of Rivals". I noticed how 'everyone' (NBA analysts and fans) either ignored, dismissed or openly resented Steph Curry and the Warriors championships. Remember Charles Barkley saying that a jump-shooting-team will NEVER win in the playoffs when on the NBA on TNT?
I would like to add I have watched GSW since mark jackson was coach for them and loved watching them play ball and had steph as a great for sure but the video explains that I had him on a very underappreciated value where as of now my eyes are more open than ever and he is top 5 hands down and might be higher on the list also. Humbly changed my view on him. it was an amazing journey to witness even gone to GSW games just to watch him but didnt have the view I do now. its amazing to break open a new world to see through my newly created eyes. lol

There have been some great point guards in the past but none like Curry. Curry is the greatest shooter of all-time and he has revolutionized the game of basketball with how well he shhots the 3 and how deep on the court Curry shoots the 3. No lead is safe against the Warriors because of how well the Curry led Warriors shoot the 3. Curry is also a great ball handler and passer but his main role is to score the basketball. Magic was amazing but Curry has changed how basketball is played.
Draymond has been Steph’s achilles heel. Without Draymond, some of these wins might not have happened but WITHOUT DRAYMOND AND HIS FOOLISH IMMATURE ACTIONS AND BEHAVIORS THEY WOULD HAVE MORE RINGS. Draymond suspensions and him running of KD cost them championships. And all his suspension of the 23-24 season caused them to not be in the playoffs. You need your achilles tendon …it’s a very important part to you moving successfully and with ease, but when it goes out it’s your downfall. That’s Draymond Green in a nutshell. Steph’s achilles heel.
I’m glad for you that you’ve finally seen who he is. You have a couple years more to watch him. I hope you’ll take every chance you can from here on out to behold him, as you did, finally, after his Olympics performance. In my opinion, the reason legions of fans have dismissed him as a true superstar, is because of the bias they have for big, physical specimens that dominate. They’ve missed so much. Even when Steph went out and changed the game and showed that you can be a smaller player and dominate, they held on to this old paradigm. I'm interested in you breaking down Steph being better than Lebron. I believe he is. Pound for Pound Steph is the greatest and most efficient player of all time. Look at his Career stats. He was the leader of the 73-9 team. If Bogut didn't go down they win that series and Steph would've been called the greatest player of all time. In my book he is.

Curry is my GOAT and I think he was robbed of at least 1 and possibly 2 FMVPs but saying "besides KD, he never had a full star" doesn't help his case with haters 😂. "Besides MJ, Scottie didn't have much help." "Outside of homicides, major crime has been on the decline." He didn't *need* KD, and was happy and secure enough to take a backseat when he needed to for team reasons but there's no denying KD was pretty good help, even if teams game planned on doubling Steph and leaving KD for open layups at times. I think if Klay didn't go down they would have got 2019, tough as it might have been against prime robot Kawhi.

It was always funny that Draymond Green is a superstar/not superstar. I remember people considered Draymond Green as superstar when GSW with KD, the league is crying GSW has 4 superstars. Then GSW without KD that he is a faux superstar.
So many players. Everyone has an idea who is the GOAT. Who cares. That's all I know is I'm a Golden State Warrior fan and so glad Curry became a Golden State Warrior. The thrills he has given us all is incomparable. My thanks also to Joe Lacob and everyone else associated with the Warriors for all you've done. People say his record for 3-pointers in his career is unbreakable. That is not true. With all of the games Curry has missed mostly due to injury someone could come in, get injured less, play longer and still eclipse the record even if he doesn't top 350 in a season as many times as Curry has. I hope he can get to 5,000 career 3-pointers. But if someone can get more games with 10 or more 3- pointers in the game and hit more than 96 3-pointers in a month that will be INCREDIBLE. Also I think Harden played one more game in the month when he set the record. And Curry still broke it by 12 3-pointers.
Great video, but you over looked the most important factor, in the first quarter of game 5, Andrew Bogut the Dubs starting center injured his knee in the first quarter of that game, and was out the remainder of the finals, yes Dray getting suspended was big, that was just one game. Andrew not being on the floor defensively changed everything. And the momentum switched to the Cavs. And Curry wasn’t 100% either. All the nonsense about the Warriors blew a 3 to1 lead without putting it in the proper context to hype up LeBron like it was ALL ABOUT HIM is laughable to me. And then for LeBron to actually say “that right there made me the greatest of all times” I almost fell out of my chair. I for one have had Curry above LeBron for the last decade. And to me, it’s not even close. I truly respect a person who can admit when they are wrong, and SAY IT PUBLICLY. My hats off to you young man. 👏👏👏👏👏👍
Your take is biased towards the Warriors. Love had a concussion in 2016 and was hardly himself; plus he missed some games during this series. Were LeBron and Kyrie at 100% in 2016? In 2015, Love didn't play at all and Kyrie played only circa 90% of game 1.

Bob is a sertified criminal and most of the times fans were on his side. Also, youve had most money. 2022 was a miracle. Forget Dirk, Curry won with Wiggins and Poole. Extreme health and peak luck. I'm interested to hear your GOAT take as a newly converted fan of the game. I don't talk ball much with most ppl bc of what you've admitted to. This guy(Curry) is hard to quantify... it's like ppl don't wanna believe what their eyes are showing them because it doesn't look real. I've been watching this guy closely since that transcendent performance in The Garden back in '13. He's unbelievable. After last Saturday's events he's cemented up there w/ KOB, BRON, & MJ for sure.

First off, I thought your presentation was great and your research and development was on point for the allotted time and effort. I'm a diehard gold blooded Golden State Warrior Fan and love the game as well, so for a Knickerbocker giving props is a statement in its self. You recognizing greatness and admitting and realizing the errors in the way your perception is not also a humbling experience but an enlightening moment as well that not only purify your soul but stops anything hindering your growth and keep you on path to reach your full potential. I can tell you that your testimony is genuine because I myself felt this way about a different basketball Icon who I thought was hype and everyone else was on his wave/ coattail and had a negative distain that was from a dark and resentful place of hating/ jealousy / and plain hardheaded stubbornness. I thought that this player could not overcome every obstacle and challenges day in and day out and would root and bet against this man. I went as far as to not own a brand name of his shoes that I thought was a trend that would end as soon as his first loss would come. The hate and distain turned into admiration, and joy , respect and in my life finally growth for love of the game and for myself as a person. I have a cool reminder of that moment and time of life hanging on my wall in a form of a picture / portrait as a reminder to always try to humble myself and stay openminded on my perception and outlook on life. Everyone loses in life I thought, he would lose at least once, That hate turned to love and respect for this iconic basketball player who did turnout to be that guy that in the clutch and championships in his entire portfolio never knew the word defeat or loss and is a bonified winner. It was my then 11-yr old daughter who got me into watching the NBA because I thought it was too physical for my taste. But when I saw her cheering so passionately for Steph that she made it into the high school basketball varsity team, I got intrigued and eventually hooked. Watching SC30 and GSW made my life easier... happier. Now that my kids are grown, I made a decision to move to the states, specifically in San Francisco, rented a studio apartment 10 minutes away from Chase Center just to be able to see their games whenever I can. Crazy? Yes 💛💙

Curry is the reason I came back to basketball after the soul crushing disappointment of warriors ownership breaking up we believe for scrap and a couple packages of cheetos.
He was fundamentally different than any other NBA player I had ever seen, both in his skill, his dribbling, his shooting, his off-ball movement, his impact on everything, and the incredible Joy he played with.
Personally, I put him over magic because magic walked into one of the best situations of point guard could possibly have walked into with an at the time top three player in Kareem, and like three other Hall of famers his rookie year. Then the team went on to get, what, another two or three number one draft picks?
The other reason is that Curry has a dominant, even overwhelming record in the finals against the consensus second best player of all time. This is why I believe Steph is > Magic all-time. Steph is something we have never seen before. Whereas, we’ve seen another Magic in Lebron, a better version in fact. And the fact that Steph has been the perfect foil to Lebron, much like Bird-Magic, it’s just little more balanced at 4-4 vs 5-3 in terms of championships. Sprinkle in the magical heroic moments we all witnessed at the Olympics, and ladies and gentlemen we have a top-5 player all-time in Curry.
I agree that Steph is better but the argument that Steph is something we’ve never seen before but Magic isn’t doesn’t make any sense. Magic was something nobody had ever seen before when he entered the league, and multiple players have modelled their game based on him. One of them being Lebron, some 20 years later. In 20-30 years we might see someone model their game after Steph and be better.

I started examining the Warriors way of playing basketball after they had won their first championship. The Warriors ball movement was better even than the Bird, McHale & Walton Boston Celtics.
Those games were beautiful to watch.
He changed basketball fans. Im in my 40s never touched a basketball but im the biggest curry fan.
There have been some great point guards in the past but none like Curry. Curry is the greatest shooter of all-time and he has revolutionized the game of basketball with how well he shhots the 3 and how deep on the court Curry shoots the 3. No lead is safe against the Warriors because of how well the Curry led Warriors shoot the 3. Curry is also a great ball handler and passer but his main role is to score the basketball. Magic was amazing but Curry has changed how basketball is played.
Draymond has been Steph’s achilles heel. Without Draymond, some of these wins might not have happened but WITHOUT DRAYMOND AND HIS FOOLISH IMMATURE ACTIONS AND BEHAVIORS THEY WOULD HAVE MORE RINGS. Draymond suspensions and him running of KD cost them championships. And all his suspension of the 23-24 season caused them to not be in the playoffs. You need your achilles tendon …it’s a very important part to you moving successfully and with ease, but when it goes out it’s your downfall. That’s Draymond Green in a nutshell. Steph’s achilles heel.

He didn't *need* KD, and was happy and secure enough to take a backseat when he needed to for team reasons but there's no denying KD was pretty good help, even if teams game planned on doubling Steph and leaving KD for open layups at times. I think if Klay didn't go down they would have got 2019, tough as it might have been against prime robot Kawhi.
Also, the 2024 Olympics Basketball MVP was debatable. Most Electrifying Player of Olympics Basketball was absolutely unequivocal.

It was always funny that Draymond Green is a superstar/not superstar.
I remember people considered Draymond Green as superstar when GSW with KD, the league is crying GSW has 4 superstars. Then GSW without KD that he is a faux superstar.
So many players. Everyone has an idea who is the GOAT. Who cares. That's all I know is I'm a Golden State Warrior fan and so glad Curry became a Golden State Warrior. The thrills he has given us all is incomparable. My thanks also to Joe Lacob and everyone else associated with the Warriors for all you've done. People say his record for 3-pointers in his career is unbreakable. That is not true. With all of the games Curry has missed mostly due to injury someone could come in, get injured less, play longer and still eclipse the record even if he doesn't top 350 in a season as many times as Curry has. I hope he can get to 5,000 career 3-pointers. But if someone can get more games with 10 or more 3- pointers in the game and hit more than 96 3-pointers in a month that will be INCREDIBLE. Also I think Harden played one more game in the month when he set the record. And Curry still broke it by 12 3-pointers.

Great video, but you over looked the most important factor, in the first quarter of game 5, Andrew Bogut the Dubs starting center injured his knee in the first quarter of that game, and was out the remainder of the finals, yes Dray getting suspended was big, that was just one game. Andrew not being on the floor defensively changed everything. And the momentum switched to the Cavs. And Curry wasn’t 100% either. All the nonsense about the Warriors blew a 3 to1 lead without putting it in the proper context to hype up LeBron like it was ALL ABOUT HIM is laughable to me. And then for LeBron to actually say “that right there made me the greatest of all times” I almost fell out of my chair. I for one have had Curry above LeBron for the last decade. And to me, it’s not even close. I truly respect a person who can admit when they are wrong, and SAY IT PUBLICLY. My hats off to you young man. 👏👏👏👏👏👍

I'm interested to hear your GOAT take as a newly converted fan of the game. I don't talk ball much with most ppl bc of what you've admitted to. This guy(Curry) is hard to quantify... it's like ppl don't wanna believe what their eyes are showing them because it doesn't look real. I've been watching this guy closely since that transcendent performance in The Garden back in '13. He's unbelievable. After last Saturday's events he's cemented up there w/ KOB, BRON, & MJ for sure.

This a video for the channel, super thanks to you. NBA my favorite and basically my main focus outside of gaming. First off, I thought your presentation was great and your research and development was on point for the allotted time and effort. I'm a diehard gold blooded Golden State Warrior Fan and love the game as well, so for a Knickerbocker giving props is a statement in its self. You recognizing greatness and admitting and realizing the errors in the way your perception is not also a humbling experience but an enlightening moment as well that not only purify your soul but stops anything hindering your growth and keep you on path to reach your full potential. I can tell you that your testimony is genuine because I myself felt this way about a different basketball Icon who I thought was hype and everyone else was on his wave/ coattail and had a negative distain that was from a dark and resentful place of hating/ jealousy / and plain hardheaded stubbornness. I thought that this player could not overcome every obstacle and challenges day in and day out and would root and bet against this man. I went as far as to not own a brand name of his shoes that I thought was a trend that would end as soon as his first loss would come. The hate and distain turned into admiration, and joy , respect and in my life finally growth for love of the game and for myself as a person. I have a cool reminder of that moment and time of life hanging on my wall in a form of a picture / portrait as a reminder to always try to humble myself and stay openminded on my perception and outlook on life. Everyone loses in life I thought, he would lose at least once, That hate turned to love and respect for this iconic basketball player who did turnout to be that guy that in the clutch and championships in his entire portfolio never knew the word defeat or loss and is a bonified winner. That Icon Michael Jeffrey Jordan.
All I'm saying is that Ben Wallace can make the Hall.of Fame. Then Draymond can make the Hall of Fame.
