Cycling Gotthard Pass in June 2024

This year was the 8th time that we cycled over Gotthard Pass on the old cobblestone Tremola road. It was unusual because when we came to Ospizio Tremola was still closed. We decided to walk down and check if we could cycle it. Lower down we saw a cyclist coming up from Airolo so were very happy and cycled on the next day. Two days later Tremola was opened to the usual traffic, we were very lucky to avoid the nuisance of noisy motorcycles and sports cars that frequent Tremola in summer.
