in my opinion, the most special suv ever made, I don't care about interiors or technology or cockpits, I just love that V6. Lovely italian classy design and badass engine sound and soul
I love Alfas, they’re such a flamboyant car and so aesthetically pleasing 😍 I owned a 156 face lift, 2.4 JTDm 5 cylinder diesel, silver with red leather, the dash, the seats, the whole thing made me smile. I regret selling it
Brought a 166 in excellent condition just two months ago. If you liked the 156, check the 166. All the engines are great but it's a cheaper entry to the busso in general if you're searching to own one at least once. And still pretty affordable to run.
@@takao4491 So is yours the busso ? My bro had a 156 TI, that’s how I ended up with y 156, it was a Veloce so had the side skirts, bigger wheels etc. My bro then sold his 156 for a 159, 2.4 JTD 200 My 156 was the 156 facelift with the JTD 175 I honestly loved it. You wouldn’t believe it but I saw it in a town a couple of years ago I used to deliver around 📦 I heard it first. @@Dan23_7 No, I got a the 155hp TwinSpark unit, but it's really enjoyable. It is drivable easily on low RPMs like the 2,5L v6 I tested earlier, and got the similar really pleasant NA behavior you expect from a gasoline Alfa at high RPMs. It just lacks the legendary Busso sounds and a bit of power but nothing embarrassing. And honestly it still sounds great. A real pleasure to sit in every morning, and to drive, got the Momo beige leather interior and the wooden steering wheel

I only wish Lancia would pick again, feel sad for two old companies really successful in racing and not doing OK in modern era... They deserve better...
Alfa is such a cool brand. Would you suggest an alfa romeo for a first car? Was thinkin about the 156 or 159. They're going for around 2000 - 6000€ (used ofc) in average / good condition
yo i bought a 159 for my first car and its amazing, sure it has its flaws and stuff but overall i recommend it a lot. i suggest the 1.8 mpi version or the 1.75 tbi one because the 1.9, 2.2 and 2.3 jts tend to break a lot (unless you wanna go for a diesel, they seem to be fine). the fuel efficiency is shit tho aint gonna lie. i bought my 1.8 mpi with around 80k miles on it and only things i had to fix so far were basic maintenance issues.
The Ferrari derived engine, is indeed a new design from the same Ferrari engineer that created the F154, using some parts from the original V8, hence the similarities, but it uses a different V angle and it can deactivate one of the banks to lower fuel consumption when in 'Advanced Efficiency'.
So aggressiveness and speed are the same? You dont think pick up, steering wheel directness, brakes, and especially weight don't have anything to do with it? Besides, this car is about as fast.

not really, this isn't the 80s anymore...it's a very weird design flaw.

What a lovely aggressive car! Inferior is so beautiful and after 2020 got really improved materials
Dont worry guys,on 2020+ models wind noise was fixed! :D
Really? What they have done?
After late 2020 interior has been reworked and got much better quality materials, improved sound insulation.
I certainly hope so. With how much the car cost, that was completely unacceptable.
this and guilia qv are one love...most interesting cars nowadays...this v6 sounds gorgeous

you wont get much performance tho, they are heavy as fuck and the engines dont do the car enough justice

they actually do use tape in formula 1 to close panel gaps for optimal streamline aerodynamics
