Kara, no. I (an ADHDer) did not drink water. Cap, I am always, perhaps chronically, dehydrated.When I realize I am thirsty, I chug like two glasses from the faucet, fill the glass a 3rd time to take with me, forget the 3rd one sitting next to me and my cat drinks it (or I spill it).
Yeah - there's people who keep up with drinking so they're never particularly thirsty, people who drink when they're thirsty, and then people like us who don't remember to drink until they're legitimately dehydrated. There's a difference between drinking when you SHOULD and drinking when you NEED to. And if you're not keeping up over long periods of time, it'll show on your body: dry hair and skin, constipation, fatigue, or worse if you're severely dehydrated. There are a lot of steps between "drinks as they should" and "dies of dehydration"
As a chronic haver of ADHD, I do often forget to drink water and suddenly realize once I'm no longer hyperfocused that I have a headache and am dehydrated. Also Cap, I really hope this is the series where you find out just how absolutely cracked Ars Nouveau is. Less so as a replacement for regular tools, but a backup toolkit for many use cases. Especially once you get into making essences, the possibilities of spell crafting are truly endless. My common early game loadout usually includes a underfoot mageblock, projectile magelight, projectile break/retrieve, and craft just to name a few, and expands further from there.
Cap, look into the new apotheosis progression system. its based on achievements like wearing apothic gear and so on (I think the default hotkey is CTRL+T but I could be wrong) Anyway, great episode as always 😊
My only problem I have with this modpack is it has several absolutely broken mods in it, but the difficulty doesn't match. If Jordon knew Ars, he could have instant break, infinity dura tools without even worrying about enchanting or tetra by now.
What might you mean by absolutely broken mods? I’m just curious because I was thinking about playing this pack however if it’s busted I may pass for now lol.. I’ve already had my fair share of absolutely busted packs lately.

You know, I saw it in lucky world, but I am wondering if it also applies, here which would be a classic example of Jardon not checking something because he forgets updates and rebalancing exists as something developers do. But at least in LWI its WAAAAAYY easier to upgrade gems now, as you don't need to go through the 'cracked, chipped, flawed' est est versions of each teir of gem. Rather, Cracked, Chipped, Flawed, are now the teirs of gemstone Cracked is gray, Chipped is green, Flawed is blue, normal is purple, flawless is gold, and perfected is rainbow.
Capt, I just want to say that for the sake of streaming and avoiding boring inventory management segments, installing Tom's Simple Storage in any future modpacks that don't have a decent inventory sorting system that is accessible fairly early on is completely acceptable. I doubt very many people would object. At the end of the day, it's about staying entertaining and watching you sort chests is background noise level content at best.

Causes of death have included blocking or rupturing of blood vessels, or heart problems, and contributing factors likely including dehydration, remaining sedentary for long periods, stress, exhaustion, increased blood pressure, etc.
Lapis is good for the Source Stone conversion, but so is Amethyst (for several Ars N updates, now), which can be renewable using the budding blocks. Both can be Fortune multiplied, though, so you can take your pick on whichever is actually easier to obtain, but you should have options.

So i wanted to check out this mod pack and i found something.... soooo idk if this boss is a spoiler or on the list of bosses to beat, but if you spot a house with a partially built boss on the roof, PLEASE fight it. I don't even care if ur save it for last. I won't spoil the boss i found but i pray you find it and attempt to fight it lol. The only hint I'll give is that you build it.
at around the 56:00 mark when you thought you had 8 diamonds you only had 4, you were looking in your backpack but thought it was a chest, then opened your backpack and counted the same 4 a second time

Just figured I’d try to remind you before you go to upgrade or reforge something and realize.. “oh. I can’t do anything because I don’t have the stuff, because I’ve been leaving it all behind”..
40:23 yes, I haven’t eaten or drank anything in 24 hours because I have PDA (pathological demand avoidance) 😂 it makes daily life pretty difficult because it’s not the avoidance of things people ask me to do (though it is partially) but avoidance of biological needs more than anything, it also makes it difficult to just do daily tasks that are appointed by myself
the issue i face with water is that even with a cup of water i get into the cycle of oh im thirsty i'll get water after im done with this thing, and then 20 minutes and 30 things later ive still not had any water and im even thirstier than before and then the cycle repeats for 4 hours till something breaks me from it and i actually manage to go get water
I'm late but sometimes water or craving anything to drink is just void. You don't think of it at all. If you drink anything it's most likely because someone who cares (like Kara) leaves something nearby that you probably don't even realize you're grabbing to drink. Please drink water sir
Jardons inability to know which loot from the nether level is good/better then his current gear after having played modded Minecraft for LITERAL YEARS is embarrassing to say the least lmfao

Since you can only have either one of those *or* sharpness, and they only work on either arthropods or undead VS sharpness working on everything, sharpness is just superior unless you want to carry a separate weapon for every type of enemy. Similar to prot armor VS blast prot or projectile prot.
They're only useful if you like carrying around multiple swords at a time, as they mean lower damage against most things than if you were to just use sharpness. Carrying around multiple swords is a bad idea because hotbar slots are valuable and occupying multiple with nearly identical weapons will crowd out other useful things.

To add to this, everything starts at common/cracked and then scales up as you progress. Progresion can be tracked in the advancements.

Hey Cap, next time in the dungeon collect the blocks of Quartz, so you can get quartz with the cuting board before going to the nether
He could also have just kept the soul sand and used create. Not sure why he didn't do that
