      Diamond is not hardest! The hardest meterial is graphene

    Nice. There is alot more to diamonds than I thought. How much pressure, in tons, does it take to break one?

    So if we made a Steel Presser made of Diamond like a Diamond presser could it crush anything coz its so hard? or will Steel still win?

  • @GrBiEdits

    What happens when diamonds shed their electrons?

    • @TheScienceVerse
      @TheScienceVerse  8 лет назад +2

      When they shed their electrons the movement of electrons causes an electric charge so in short when diamonds shed their electrons they can relase an electric charge ..(obviously I described it in a very simplified way and there are so much more details to this process but for the sake of simplicity I put it like that) 😄

    wtf diamond is not more durable than steel

    • @teranyan
      @teranyan 4 года назад

      Diamond is harder than steel. Hardness describes exactly what he said in the video: resistance to scratching. Steel is less brittle than diamond because it is flexible like most metals, it will bend rather than shatter.

      @@teranyan it also depends somtimes on which kind of diamond it is and or which way you test it LOL. :3 and if your "steel" is 100% otherwise you'll be disappointed when the whole world bands up to make you look like a liar and or an inexperienced unintelligent new guy who has more than 2k years combined experience from 27 years of difficult and extremely painful labor of being mentored by countless artisan's in their field.
