Did I get enough hay? Hoping to keep our cows fed over winter!

The upcoming winter will be our first with the cows and I had to make sure I stocked up on hay to keep them fed through the winter. However, I'm not so sure if this is enough!
We paid $8 for each bale, and a day later I spoke with a farmer who told me his hay sources were getting ready to bump their prices to $12 per bale! Word on the street is that a bunch of Texas farmers were making their way up here to buy as much hay as they could haul back. Good ole' supply and demand!
