Some people claim that the first coat of clear coat cures faster by leaving the sanded clear coat for a few weeks before Flow Coat.I don't know if this is true but you can clearly smell chemicals evaporating/exhaling after sanding
Correct . Sanding freshly painted clear opens up the clear allowing the solvents to out gas quicker .
