Out of every song in the game’s ost this one stood out the most to me. It gives that unnerving vibe of isolation which makes sense given the fact of where you are. Yet at the same time it feels like it’s encouraging you to keep on going and that there’s no turning back. After all you’ve come all this way, might as well finish it. (This kinda turned into a mini-rant lol. But I really mean it when I say that I adore everything about this game and ofc its ost.)
Elegant and flourishingly colorless city, the city on the moon... Beautifully written. ~💖
Wish we had this on Spotify... desperately. Such a masterpiece for a video game OST 😔
I feel like the themes of each terrain are slowly getting darker for each one. Like the cat is slowly gaining darker knowledge. I haven't played through the whole game yet since time is a problem, but I love its gameplay and OST so much.
Please no spoilers, I'm still at The Moon!
What I mean by getting darker is that Snowden Sanctuary is melancholic, but still in a major key. You are alone, but hopeful for the future. As for the Forest theme, you get put into a new terrain in which you've never seen before. It's mysterious, yet so fascinating. The music modulates between major and minor regularly and you can't tell between which one. But for the Silent City it's full on full out minor. It's the Moon, so it's lonely but the music isn't soft. It's loud because the thoughts and/or end is becoming louder. You can't shut it off from your mind.

2:20 - you can hear the main menu intro but much darker
Well this one was not that much darker..the original main menu theme is what I found dark.

The name of this track can be easily explained. We know that the Moon is actually an abandoned city. Some elements, such as fences and barber poles, are scattered throughout the levels.

Это было сложно и грустно в конце. Я прошёл её 3 раза и всё ещё наслаждаюсь ей, в ней такая музыка что плакать можно, что я и делаю иногда из-за моего положения.
У меня есть пианино и когда мне плохо то я играю музыку наподобие этой и меня это успокаивает.
