I truly hope she has grown up to be a happy child. I was so happy to see her smile towards the end of the video. It seemed it took quite awhile for her to become comfortable. God bless you for adopting this sweet angel.
She is so sweet! I had to smile when you talked about possibly "screwing her up." I think every parent has that thought/fear, whether you adopt a child, or have a baby. We just hope that, with God's help and grace, that our best is good enough. I bet you are wonderful parents!!!!
The worst part of this process is when they bring out the baby with foster Mom how they cry going into the arms well strangers to see how they cry tears me up but then you see the joy as it inches on their forever parents and in time all of that pain is erased and a new way of life begins. #PROUDPARENTS.😫😭😢❤❤❤❤❤
Agreed, they are so frightened when they are turned over to strangers (their forever family) after forming a bond with their foster mom/nannies. It is sad to see them crying, but they do warm up as the new bond forms & they become accustomed to their forever family & realize they are loved & cared for.
We have to keep in mind that these are geared to these babies to see when their older, thus these songs will have special meaning, as well as the pictures of their birthland. These parents are unselfishly sharing a personal and major event in their lives. You may always choose to double click on image and slide the red line to the right a bit to skip the parts you don't care to see. Blessings! 😀
They're scared....person(s) who took care of them leave and these strangers are there, they even look differently....i'd cry too...usually they warm up after a bit.
I THINK SHES PERFECT AND BEAUTIFUL JUST THE WAY SHE IS ACCEPTANCE IS A BIG PART OF LIFE IF HER PARENTS CAN ACCEPT THE FACT THAT SHE ONLY HAS ONE EAR SO CAN EVERYBODY ELSE LOVE IS MORE IMPORTANT AND MUM AND DAD LOVE HER SO MUCH THAT IS ALL SHE NEEDS THAT SMILE SAYS IT ALL
You guys are the most amazing, loving, devoted, caring, and his child is so lucky beyond lucky to have chosen you for his parents and for you to choose her as your child Jesus puts people in our lives for a reason I believe that God bless you and I think you’re an amazing woman Julie you and your husband are wonderful. Looks like she had been used of just given a bottle to keep her quiet in the orphanage. I hope it didn't take you long to stop that. I'm so pleased she got two loving parents xx
Colleen Zulueta I see lots of American children who's teeth are buck because of it. I think real love & care are worth thousand times more than a bottle. I agree when they are trying to calm the baby. Like some have blankets. I'd rather none & my children are pharmacist, Dentist & Solicitor . Much love needed.

The way the government adoption agencies are doing this is all wrong. The transition shouldn't be in a room of noise and other screaming babies. It sounds like a slaughter house. Each family should be given a room where the baby is brought in and introduced to the parents in a calm quiet setting. It's absolute mayhem and stressful on these babies and overwhelming. Some Forever families chooses to meet their child in their Hotel room..there is certainly a fee for this or they may be children placed in Foster Care?? Who decides, based on which criteria, does some children end up in foster care..got to google this..moi, canada
It doesnt matter how they do it. Chinese babies scream and cry no matter what. It can be in a quiet hotel room with 2 people or loud like the orphanage is, they still act the same way. African, Filipino, India etc they dont act that way, just the Chinese. So it really doesnt Matter.
what gets me is these wonderful people adopting these children make excuses for there childs birth parents when in reality the childs was ht==thrown out because of a defect I-E no right ear poor little girl.
Microtia of the ear can be fixed, but it takes a very skilled plastic surgeon and it cannot be done until at least the age of seven as they need enough cartilage to harvest from the sternum. My young neighbor had it and had to travel to San Francisco to see the right doctor. It is more than one operation involved, but today you would have to look hard to see any difference in his ears. He does not have any hearing in that ear, however, as there is no ear canal.
Fred Wilson, you're getting like the crabby women in here: The fact is that the birth parents chose life. All medical bills must be paid in advance. I don't know why you go back to the orphanage. She is probably thinking you guys are taking her back. Also, you were doing fine talking then you get her and you turn on the music. Why? Would rather keep listening to you guys instead of that.
You complain about this in so many videos. Please be gracious to a family who's sharing the best they can so kindly with those of us who adore seeing orphans become loved daughters and sons. Pax et lux

I totally agree with you Katherine Khan it’s heartbreaking and so cruel the way this is handled .
You’re right, the China gov makes at least 18,000 for each baby, the least they could do is make it easy on the babies who are already stressed.
