I’m obsessing over Weeekly… might start stanning for real
From what I’ve seen, I think the company is doing well for them. I think they are promoting them fairly well and making the right choices for them. I feel like they have this school concept for right now while they’re still pretty young but as they go further in their career, they well transition into a more suitable/mature concept. I also think they’re releasing some great songs and I’m happy that they wear appropriate clothing for their young age. I think they will be very successful if they stay on this right track.

From what I recall, I don’t remember saying “cute concept”, I specifically pointed out the *school concept* in which it is weird for grown adults to be running around in school uniforms as if they are still children/teenagers. They won’t stay as teenagers forever and they will outgrow the teen/school concept eventually. If they want to continue doing it anyways, then I don’t have a problem. Live and Let Live. But that doesn’t mean that some ppl won’t find it weird or odd. And I never said that cute concepts only equate to candies and lollipops. I gave an example of what a cute concept COULD be, not what it could ONLY be.

Look at Twice, they started with the same concept but they evolved when the members got older and as they got further into their music career. You don’t stick with one concept forever... it’s not a dumb rule it’s just a kpop fact. Concepts change. I like Weeekly’s style now but they are going to change in the future whether it’s to a mature concept or just a different style in general. There’s nothing wrong with that...

This is the perfect first comeback that just captures their youth and energy so well. I love the band kinda doing going on and the giant blocks. The aesthetics was perfect and felt like a great follow up to Tag Me. Even though they are the same age as me, they just bring me so much joy and I can’t wait to see where they go. All of their parts were *chefs kiss*. Dude, that high note. Perfection.

My favorite era of weeekly. The bass line, the riffs and the drums on the post-chorus part are so damn addicting. I'm a band member and I love rock songs. Yes, this is a kpop song but you can bang your head so hard because of the composition of this song. So thats why I really love zig zag!

i honestly find it so impressive that weeekly are only having their first comeback and jiyoon already has writing/composing credits on four songs. she said in behind-the-scenes material that she's self-taught and got into songwriting all by herself. based on the quality of her tracks i feel like she's gonna be big in the future and might end up writing/producing for other groups too. she definitely has the talent for it.
It's five if you count her credit for co-writing BoomChiKi. God Jiyoon is definitely living up to her nickname.

i love this group because they are so unique aaaa
1. they use sets of props in their choreo
2. the styles and editing of the mv was so cool i have never seen anything like this before
3. THE OUTFITSS,,, i love the knee high shorts omg. usually kpop idols have to dance in uncomfortable outfits that over sexualise them and are too short,, weekly tends to have comfortable looking stage outfits which makes the performance so good bc they can dance better in these fits.

For Everyone who wants to stan Weeekly, here's a guide for you! Weeekly is a 7 member girl group. They are Soojin, Jiyoon, Monday, Soeun, Jaehee, Jihan and Zoa. Soojin, Jiyoon, Monday, Soeun, Jaehee, and Zoa are a former FAVE trainees and was known as Fave Girls. But, since Plan A and FAVE merge, they became PlayM Girls with Jihan. Jihan was a former SM trainee, but she left and joined Plan A. Soojin, Jiyoon and Soeun were on Mixnine. Soojin was at top ranking, but she had an accident and she had to leave the show. Props to weeekly's songwriters. Coming back from After School, the lyrics are actually quite simple but I would say they're incredibly rare nowadays. Though I find songs with metaphors, genius and creative, sometimes, I just want something straight to the point and simple. It makes me understand and relate to the song much easier. As a teenager, I am glad weeekly reminds me that it's okay to be confused and to just have fun! I can't handle all the edginess and dark themes lots of groups are doing so weeekly is literally the only thing left.

I love how PlayM is letting Weeekly write songs about growing up and not knowing what to do,because then teens their age will be able to relate. It's kinda comforting in a way its like they're telling us even if we feel confused about ourselves,its ok to take it easy and just have fun
This is such a satisfying, natural sounding comeback. There's a lot of pressure for a first comeback to be even more in your face than the debut, while also showing different sides of yourself as a group. I think Weeekly did something that made them stand out just by being consistent with their concept and genre. It reminds me a lot of old Gfriend and Apink, if you pull off a concept well and gain fans for it, why immediately try to change it just to grab trendy attention? This concept is honestly so refreshing and seems to fill a place that's missing in kpop atm.
