- To celebrate the 2 Year Birthday of Detroit Awakening, we got together for a recreation of Detroot Wakey, the Google Translate Disaster stream. We also did a vanilla/original read through of the Detroit Awakening script with Chris for the first time ever. I've never seen the guys laugh this hard on stream before!

Also can I just say, I loved getting to see/hear the actual DA read with Chris as Gavin so much ;-; I feel like everyone collectively agrees that he just 10/10 is the best Gavin, and he and Maximilian have the best dynamic and chemistry as Gavin and Nines. Thanks a bunch to you guys for doing that and to everyone who donated for making it happen

Intentional on the part of Mr. Smallwood. A distracting, familiar, and intentionally tone deaf title covering up a much darker reality - the same way the guests at the plantation wedding are gleefully ignorant of anything other than celebration.

The more of these streams I watch, the more I can't get over the chemistry between this cast; specifically Maximilian and Chris. The way you all play off one another just flows so well, it's very, very impressive! It just honestly warms my heart to watch all of you guys interact ❤️ I can't wait to see what you all do next, you all seem to just be such sweet and talented people!

All of them seemed so immersed and in character during the final reading. And Chris, this being the first time reading out the real script, did so unbelievably well. In comparison to the og DA he really offered something new and fresh to the table. Especially during the argument scene. Even while I watched I thought to myself how different the approach they took was. While the og was a very in your face rising action argument, this version really took a less tunnel vision route. There were so many more layers to it and just wow it was amazing. With this being said I’m really looking forward to DRA next month !
