      Non baffled. I really love them. Going to put the same pipes on my G.I. Trike. These pipes are really great quality. Thanks for watching!!

    Great video, this will make my install a lot easier. Hopefully it won’t take two years to get my mufflers off. Lol! Thank you!

    Chrome works baffles make them sound even better. Put a set on my '97 Road King. Really woke that old Evo up. Noise wise anyways. She sounds fast but definitely not in a hurry. Had to drill a hole in the fishtail, installed a u nut on the baffles and fished it in there. My first thought was just slide them in, the fishtail will hold em in. Sounded like a damn shopping cart rattling down the road. After the baffles were secured though. The sound was perfect. Still loud as hell but less rumble when you let off the gas.

      Thanks for watching. I'm old School when it comes to pipes, I love straights. Maybe it's the Artillery ears, who knows, nothings too loud for me. LOL

    Do you have to remap for these?

      It's recommended to do so, but many folks change pipes and air cleaner without any issues. Most people go for a simple tuner after the mods.

    How did these affect your performance? Did you lose bottom end power?

    • @GreyBeards-Garage
      @GreyBeards-Garage  Год назад +2

      Not at all. In my experience, fishtail pipes seem to add some backpressure due to tapering to a narrow exit. The sound is awesome, much different than just a straight pipe. Thanks for watching and thanks for commenting.

      @@GreyBeards-Garagedo you have a link to a decatting kit?

    • @GreyBeards-Garage
      @GreyBeards-Garage  Год назад

      @hansenssharpening5720 no kits, just look at aftermarket peeformance head pipes or modify your own head pipe. Requires cutting and welding.
