- The F1 testing in Bahrain proved to be actually quite fruitful for Mercedes as the team improved heavily in comparison to the previous two years, as was echoed by Hamilton and Russell and it does seem like the team has found what it has been looking for for the past two years. With this being the last season of the seven-time world champion in the Silver Arrows, the team will be looking to end it on a high, despite Toto’s statements that their main goal is not the fight for the title. So, can Mercedes beat their rivals this season and have they found something that they can build upon?

Listen I’m hopeful the 🐐 can get his deserved 8th championship and ride off into the sunset in his new red Ferrari but I gotta be honest guys idk if your beating Max unless he’s got a car that can’t get on podium 😂 We can complain all we want bout his driving style, FIA catering to him, lack of comp, but we also gotta admit the now man has shown us from Race 1 at 17 yrs old that he’s special, now been racing 9 yrs at 26 yrs old in just the START of his prime in by far the best car by 1 or 2 tenths on a BAD DAY. Gotta be forreal, someone has to have atleast jus as good of a car to atleast give Max the thought of an actual championship fight, to actually make it a fight I think RB has to have the 2nd or 3rd Best Car. The kids that good. Sameshit everyone was saying bout Lewis, Schumacher, Vettel, etc. Max pisses me off jus as much as you but the man isn’t a 3x champ jus becuz of the car. Having no real pressure from his teammate or rival car capable of actually competing with him makes him Championships quite different tbh not to mention his only real fight was with Lewis n that shit was 🎁 to RB n Max but besides that it’s been Sunday cruise for the last 2 yrs no fault of his own of course. I pray, n pray n pray Lewis gets the chance he deserves to take the fight to Max one more time in the Black n Grey! 🙏🙏🙏😂
I wouldn't mind Lewis getting 10 WC under his belt before leaving.
The biggest issue with the lack of championship fight is the cost cap. If you have a slower car it’s harder to catch up with the leader, because cfd time and money is limited. Mercedes and Ferrari are the only ones I trust to actually challenge Red Bull as they are worksteams, but both of them have gone for the wrong concept.
I know Hamilton is leaving. But if rumors are true about the W15 being ACTUALLY Redbull challenging, will Merc allow Lewis to try and win this season? George is the future, but he's not Lewis. At least not yet (I do like George and Bottis).
Of course merc want Lewis to win, every single time anybody talks about the 2024 season they would talk about the incredible feat Mercedes and Hamilton pulled off

lewis was at worst in qualifying form last two years because of instability of the car and still beat russell imagine he can actually makes the best out of the car
He’s 1-1 with Russell on season finishes.
@@-._.-._.-Sully-._.-._.- he's still ahead of russell in accumulated qualifying/races/points all three metrics from two seasons and mike elliott built the car against hamilton's strengths now the car is more towards him and its also more stable overall i could already see lewis driving on the line he has never driven last twice years because the car didn't take the kerbs well
