- So I had another short trip out with a friend of mine Ray we hit the 5 AM lock out from Sovereign Harbour Eastbourne East Sussex, United Kingdom It was still dark out there but with the system, I’ve got set up on my boat. We were super safe using the amazing Lowrance radar halo 20+ we wanted to go out and do a comparison video where I would predominantly stick with my slow pitch jigging set up, and Ray would vary between direct Lure Fishing and the traditional way see how we got on this video.

A great day out with Mark. Just lucky that the fish that day were sitting tight to the wreck. With the weedless lure you can explore very close to the wreck. Tried the same method with my mate Tony on my own boat a week later and he spanked me on the slow jigs. No two days or even tides are alike but that's fishing for you. As mark said mix it up, methods, lures, lure sizes and types until you find what works on the day. Of course you need a great skipper to put you on the fish in the first place. Tight lines.

On thing I would suggest if I can, is to try mixing up your pitches with the rod. I find it can encourage hits, theyre always watching and when the jig does something a bit different it can trigger that hit that may of otherwise never happened?
great video mark, is ray normally that good ? next time take someone else out instead, lol, only joking,
next time when you take ray out - swing the boat round so your lures hit the fishing area/wreck first to see your lure first lol, he is good though.
