Man, Akira will never not be incredible. Just so iconic in every way, and such a powerfully influential movie in the world of film and animation. Great work! 👍
I had no idea Katsuhiro Otomo worked on so many different anime films. Akira was an amazing movie and after learning more about the work put into it i can see why. I will have to check out some of the other works mentioned in this video when i get a chance. :)
He didn't pave the way, he went for the moon, put a hole into it and kept going, no has been able to duplicate him since. Love your videos by the way, it's great motivation, keep it up Art Shutter, can't wait for you to do Bill Sienkiewicz
Those words sound much better and more epic than the ones I said in the video, thank you very much for the comment and for the suggestion, I follow Bill Sienkiewicz's work since a few years ago and I find it wonderful, I hope to do something about him soon.
Great video about the life of this great artist. I still remember that a friend had gotten the Akira movie on VHS and we could see it at my house behind closed doors... we were talking about the movie for a long time; It was an incredible event for the time.
Otomo's art is as if a alien disguised himself as a human and learned to draw. In short, it's the best manga art I've ever seen, from comics it's one of the ones that most enraptured me in this industry.
Holy sh** guy. Everyone knows the great otomo. But I've never known those short paths in his life before domu. This auto-bio piece is out of this world. Well done. 👌👌👌
Akira was the first adult anime I saw as a teenager and was blown away. This reminds me to watch it again!
Any excuse is a good excuse to watch Akira again.
I keep meaning to get hubby to watch Akira so I can show him how impressive it is

Who knows if this blessed adaptation of Akira for anime series happens it doesn't open a hole in the earth.
Akira was the first anime I saw while in high school and it blew my mind and got me into collecting manga and other anime films and TV series.
