I finished it it 5 days. After i was done i did the ibm da cert. From my perspective, ibm goes in depth with info and more hands on training. Difference is google is R heavy, and ibm is more python heavy.
@@govindgoel1508 ok yeah, I was going to say because if you already have a portfolio you could easily use that to fill in the requirements of the course especially the UX Design cert.

I finished this cert like a month ago and have been applying to jobs every single day. I also have a LSS black belt and have been a financial professional for about 10 years. I've only gotten one call back from over 80 applications.
Wouldn't let that get you done too much Mike, that is unfortunately the case with a lot of job types. There are a lot of applicants, especially for remote positions. Hang in there.
Here in central Europe we apply 100 of times and be super grateful if at least a couple respond positive 😅 So your situation is definitely not that bad. Hang on there Cheers mate

These Google certificates are NOT enough to get a job unless you have other related experience or get VERY lucky. I got several of them along with other certificates and I had to put in over 300 applications to find a job. I’ve had it for 2.5 years now, but it wasn’t the certificates that got it for me. It was my past experience and portfolio showing I could do the job.
Pretty much if they add you got cert from coursera they want to see 2+ other certs from there to know how much you learn and commit to it. For sure they will pay more attention to an indeed client that got 5+ certs on there with said knowledge of doing a, b and c.
Right now with huge tech layoffs it is hard to get a job with this data analytics certification. Students should do a masters degree or PhD in data science instead
..and even then one has to know: SQL, Python, R, Machine Learning algorithms, Linear Algebra, Statistics, Tableau and/or Power BI, and have a portfolio with at least 3 high level projects. You then have to be able to articulate and demonstrate these skills in a 3-5 part interview. ❤ This is the VERY Least one can have-if NOT no interview no job-period.
@JackDutch-b2n I agree as I was going thru it 6 months ago they were implementing a ton of features to make things automated. Google even made a big data version of sheets to nearly eliminate the need for using sql it's incredibly user friendly. The reason I think it's hard to get a job is because the market is on a down turn and data scientist/more qualified people are taking these lower jobs with over qualifications. IMO remote work has screwed the market as well, I'm all for working from home but they should make you live near the office other wise it opens competition up to a crazy amount of applicants.
I started out wanting to be a web developer, then looked into SQL, which lead me to dip my toes into Data Analytics. I'm feeling rather defeated though, because I got laid off a few months back from outsourcing. That on top of AI makes me feel like the effort isn't worth it. :(
Umm, I’ve tried tapping on your link to your Instagram. No name no account, others just copy you and post clips on their profile. So either change your descriptions in your RUclips vids or don’t put it in at all. Other than that I appreciate the informative vids you put out about making money here and there.

Maybe you just don’t have the right connections/network. I’ve learned that it’s not what you know, it’s who you know.

If someone can complete the certificate program within the 7 day free trial, do they still get access to course materials after the free trial ends?

This is just another course. Finding a job will still be difficult and this will just be a small bonus provided employers even look at your portfolio.
Nowadays you have to get a portfolio, projects and at times a degree to land a job in the tech sector.
