the problem isn't with the skills or experience these days, the problems with finding a job now is the automated filtering services these companies use as well as online applications. when you have 20,000 people apply for a single job your odds are next to nothing. when you have a computer filtering out applications based on key words or choices from a employment test your chances are equal to 1 in 20,000. may as well play the lottery.
i got a better idea. these companies can hire me to come up with real hiring strategies.
one thing i have noticed about getting a job these days is the circumvention of the application process completely. it's just people in HR hiring people they know. or people in the company referring you, so you have to know someone to get a job and we all know how well that turns out for skilled and dedicated workers for finding positions.

Data manager sounds very interesting. I've been working in the pharmacy for about 12 yrs now. The amount of reading, sorting, and organizing that I do is never-ending. Most people get bored of the constant tedious paperwork and data entry involved, but I actually enjoy it.
I've been looking for a side hustle for some extra cash. I wonder if I can land a weekend or PT job?

A simple Google search should work just fine, but you can probably find these on job boards as well. If you Google search "data analyst job" for example, a "Jobs tab will appear next to "All" at the top. Click that and you will see all jobs available. Be sure to filter if you need to, and always double-check the job posting by going to the company's website to make sure it is a real posting. Scammers post fake jobs all over (Google and job boards won't know the difference), or you just might be unsure because it's a third-party recruiter posting the job for the company.

      1) Some remote jobs require you to stay in a specific city or area while working due to regulations. Most of these will say so in the listing or during the application process.
      2) Many remote jobs require not just steady internet but a certain minimum speed and connection quality.
3)Related to point 2, not all RVs can have internet hooked up so do a thorough check on your rig.
