Carl, so far great! At 11:40 you say the "@" -- [@onclick vs onclick] -- "signifies that this is a server-side method instead of a a JavaScript method. " I am confused as to what a "server-side method" is relative to Blazor Client/WASM as I do not see a .Server in the Solution Explorer. --- Is .NET Core, when loaded in WASM, considered the "server"?
Ahh yes... He meant to say that the @ sign signifies a Blazor call, not a JavaScript call. In this case, it was Blazor Server so he said a "server-side" call. Nice catch!
Hi Achmad. At this stage, we prioritized web browser apps with Blazor Server as it works for the majority of our customers. We postponed decisions related to Blazor WebAssembly support until it is officially marked as final (LTS) by Microsoft, likely in .NET 5 or later. For more information, see supportcenter.devexpress.com/ticket/details/t879682/faq-xaf-asp-net-core-blazor-server-ui-ctp.
Deadly serious question: Nothing is worth anything in life unless we have health. A couple years ago I heard you say you were on the keto diet, and it was a godsend to you. How’s that been going?
I like how Carl is always happy. He's like Ralph Wiggum, all grown up!
Great series Carl, lovely to see introductions to Blazor put into simple terms!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome, thank you for this.

Very excellent teaching! Thanks!
It’s a conductor hat. It took me minute but I get it now...
I wonder if XAF will implement WASM for XAF Web app. I suppose it might be a good improvement for scalability in XAF Web.

Nice work Carl. I find the music distracting when you're coding.
Thanks! Duly noted.
I stopped adding background music a few episodes ago.
I just *can't* code without music!
Great video, looking forward to watching the rest. Only bit of feedback is to hold off on the annoying "woo woo" sound effects
I disagree! That's what makes it! Woo Woo!!
Embrace the cringe! Crank it up for the whole office!
