Thanks for sharing Kate 👍 I've also found that young nails protein bond works well too, I've had my pigment on for 1 week so far over natural nails and no chips or wear x
Kitty cat Don’t be tacky has no inhibition layer and was designed to be used as a base for pigments. When applying this one, it appears to go on looking a little grainy. Once applied, let it sit for about 20 seconds to self level before curing. Let it shine has an inhibition layer and I use it for the final top 😊
Yep exactly :-) Since I did this video, I've actually been curing the topcoat for 30 seconds before applying the pigment. It applies slightly better if you under cure slightly. Then add pigment, burnish et cetera :-)
The quality of the Shelly pigment isn’t like this anymore 😫 I got the first batch in January, and the this week I bought it again but it isn’t as shiny any more which is a shame because I really loved their products
Dixie Girlxox yep definitely I bought one pot first, then the second time round I bought 3 pot because I was so impressed and my my nail shop this product was so popular, I still had the old pot left so i compared them and they are totally different, the new batch is also very dull not glass like. I will buy again soon to see if it’s just the batch I got x
Dtvvth Dtvvth message Magpie and let them know. I’ve seen mention on the magpie group that sometimes the batches can vary slightly. Hope you get it sorted 😊
Chronic Butterfly they are available 😊 here magpiebeautyusa.com/collections/dust Another company stocks a few of their glitters but Magpie USA has everything 😊
I've got quite few. I've got a Gel II one that's 36 watts I think and it's good but VERY heavy. I also have the brand new Magpie Gel Colour Lamp that is beautiful and light and 48 watts. That one is the one I am using currently and if you are able, that would be a nice new one to get :-)
Your nails look stunning! Thank you for posting this instructional video. Very helpful tips.
I am in love with all these beautiful powders/pigments! They look gorgeous on your nails! Thanks for sharing! ♥ Jenny

Bonding agent = brilliant! Thanks for sharing this tip!
Glad I could help. Thanks for watching :-)
Gorgeous Kate 💖😍...I prefer using a sponge rather than a eyeshadow applicator too 👍 Fabulous tips and tricks ...OPI bond aid is a life saver 😀 ..😘 xox
Thanks lovely
That looks amazinggggg Kate 😍😍😍💖💅🏽
Thanks lovely :-)
Love this pearlized look. Does the bond aid have to be cured? And can it be used with regular nail polish? or should not
Kandy Kane no the bond aid doesn't need to be cured. I think it would be fine over regular polish
OPI Bond Aid...gotta get it! Thanks for the tip!
Sam Hugh let me know how you go
I'm new to magpie so what's the difference between don't be tacky and let it shine? and are they both no wipe?

@@DixieGirlxox Thanks!
How would you apply this if you don't use a dry wipe top coat?
Gorgeous Kate!
JMUf1j1 thank you 😊
Hi
So did you use a no tacky top coat first before applying the powder and then used the same top coat over the top?
Yep exactly :-) Since I did this video, I've actually been curing the topcoat for 30 seconds before applying the pigment. It applies slightly better if you under cure slightly. Then add pigment, burnish et cetera :-)
Omg absolutely beautiful! Tfs.

Dtvvth Dtvvth are you applying it the same way as I do in this video? I’ve only ever had the one pot.

Dixie Girlxox I have, thankyou! Your video is awesome 👌👍
Dtvvth Dtvvth what did they say? Thank you so much ❤️
It sucks that the glitters, dusts, and pigments aren't available on the US website for Magpie 😭💔
Chronic Butterfly they are available 😊 here magpiebeautyusa.com/collections/dust
Another company stocks a few of their glitters but Magpie USA has everything 😊
How long do you cure your top coat so you can putt the pigment on?
I do a 30 second cure and if I am not using Magpie, I use Akzentz No Wipe and again cure for 30 seconds :-)
Dixie Girlxox what kind of lamp do you have I have a old one that I bought six or seven yrs ago
