"Maurice" seemed to lose his words during 'no matter what' but other than that a really good job. loved that Belle wasn't a perfect little stick classic Belle. her voice was beautiful and everyone did an amazing job.
This is a recording of opening night, when the students were incredibly nervous because of the amazing audience turnout for their first performance. The actor who played Maurice had not debuted on stage in the capacity that he did in this show, so his anxiety is completely warranted. THANK YOU for supporting this performance! It still means a great deal to this cast nearly three years later. :)

The actress who played Belle is of Korean descent. Most of the Asian students in the cast are either of Korean or Filipino descent. CVHS is not a performing arts high school but it was the recipient of the California BRAVO Award in 2005 and I believe in 2013/14 the recipient of the California Golden Bell Award. It is also a California Distinguished public school as well as a Blue Ribbon school prior to the enacting of the Golden Bell Award. This production had a great deal of work put into it. Both the adults and the students involved in this show put in 110% for the entirety of the run. Nearly three years later it is still a show worth rewatching.
